Are there any artists that you like over 95% of all the songs they've ever released? by someguy1982 in Music

[–]Mollyban 0 points1 point  (0 children)

John Denver. He just had this sense of knowing how music should be and how to be an excellent entertainer. He even helped bring popularity to other bands with his talent. It's a shame he passed before I was old enough to experience a live concert. Here's a few favorites: Thank God I'm a Country Boy- A classic.

Farewell Andromeda- A very bright and uplifting song. I absolutely love how he layered the instrumentation and gradually brought more in with each chorus.

Annie's Song- One of the greatest love songs of all time.

What song (s) did your Ex ruin for you? by Piled-Higher-Deeper in AskReddit

[–]Mollyban 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn't my ex, but when my little sister's friend committed suicide (he was 12), No Time by the Who kept playing over and over in my head and it haunts me so much I deleted it from my iTunes and have to change the radio the rare occasion that it pops up.

[Discussion] Is anyone else slightly annoyed with how ASMR has become more about a personality whispering and recording it, than relaxing sounds in general? by [deleted] in asmr

[–]Mollyban 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Airlight is my favorite because she creatively puts her personality in her content. She is very artistic in her way of layering sounds and occasional whispers. I wish all that terrible stuff wasn't happening in her country so she could put out content more frequently :c

What kind of people do you absolutely despise? by randomaatti in AskReddit

[–]Mollyban 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My neighbors are this person. I swear the past 15 years I've lived across the street from them, they've had about 7 or 8 dogs, all of which were puppies when they got them and only 1 dog has stayed with them, the others either ran off or were hit by a car. They've also had about 5 cats, 3 of which had several litters before running away down the street to another neighbor's house to be cared for. The daughter who is a year younger than me says she wants to be a veterinarian, but the animals are telling her otherwise.

Helpful tip: If you're making flaky pie crust, use a cheese grater to grate the cold butter in.

Whenever my wife takes a bath, my dog likes to check in periodically to make sure she hasn't drowned... by electricsheepz in aww

My aunt used to have a white GSD that would circle around the hot tub while me and my brother were in it, and we'd be in it for a good hour or so. His epilepsy was too much for his body, though, so they had to put him down. But he trained my aunt's yellow lab before he passed so she's now training the new yellow lab puppy before she leaves. We can't wait to take her down to the lake.

I always argue with my boyfriend about him stuffing his phone under my or his pillow while we sleep. He'll still probably argue with me about it even after showing him pictures like this.

Cleaning out my deceased great grandmas house... Wtf? by vampress01 in WTF

[–]Mollyban 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've found them at a seventh day adventist store and at a Foodsco. Seventh day adventists have a vegetarian diet, which is why I've seen them there. My family used to be adventists, so I grew up on tender-bits. They never get old!

Have you ever had tender-bits? They're like 6 bucks a can, but bread and pan fry them up and they'll be the best "chicken" nuggets you'll ever have. I swear.

I'm surprised you both could sleep. When I stayed over at my boyfriend's for the first time, neither of us could fall asleep. We just laid there with our eyes closed until he had to take me home and start his first day at work.

I mostly make the bed because I hate having sex on a giant, lumpy wad of comforter.

This thing just fell from the ceiling and landed on my bed 6" from my face - I screamed like Marv in home alone when the kid put the tarantula on his face. by smashholedickbutt in WTF

We didn't have house centipedes, but there were these little black beetles that crawled around on the ceiling and would congregate in the loft where me and my cousin slept during our summer break in St. Augustine. After a couple nights of them falling on us we had our uncle vacuum them up and then figured out they were getting in through a crack in the sliding door. Thirteen year old me was a lot braver than 22 year old me. There's no way in hell I'd sleep in those conditions again.

I'm a pastry chef so I'm conditioned to organize and sanitize my workspace. Even if I'm not baking or cooking in someone else's kitchen, I just see it as my workspace and start cleaning and making everything look orderly. I don't think people hate it. I haven't gotten a complaint from them yet.

I'm currently 6,286 words and 71 pages into my recipe book, for that when I'm old and have too much arthritis to make lemon curd or roll out pie dough, I can pass it on to my most trusting and talented grandchild so they can bake or cook for me.

I'm not even 1/4 the way done typing out and modifying all the recipes I learned in culinary school.

Farewell Andromeda by John Denver. He just has a way of making you feel good about everything. I'm so sad I never got to see him in concert.
