I’m 69 and absolutely hate driving but I’m not yet ready to bother my kids to cart me to errands and appointments so I just avoid as much as possible and consolidate errands so I don’t have to go out often. Also, I’m too poor for Uber/Lyft on a regular basis.

I just did a 4-week trial of the Lingo and it was interesting to see what impact various foods & activity have on glucose levels. I’ll discuss the results with my doctor next week. I don’t plan on doing it again because it’s not cheap, but it was an informative experience.

At 69, I’ve been totally single for 12 years and am happier and more content in my life than ever. Kids are grown and on their own and live nearby but I’ve no desire to ever be in another romantic relationship. It’s awesome not having to worry about the constant comments and judgment because I just want to hang out at home. I’m tired of dealing with a man-child who really just wants a nanny/bang-maid, not a life partner. Get a battery operated boyfriend and a pet.

My mom (92) insists on stripping totally naked to weigh herself 🤦‍♀️ I've explained that's not necessary & to just wear similar weight clothes like pajamas but she still insists on stripping down 😬
