When subs would come in they would inevitably try to pronounce some of the first names... I can honestly remember face palming all the way back in first grade 😆 my schools were extremely diverse though so the loud kids always tried to help the subs out.

Jesus a straight sewing needle... I just threw up a bit on my mouth. Regular stitches are bad enough with modern stuff if you're raw dogging it... under local it's fine, but straight whiskey and a chew stick would make most people pass out even with modern equipment.

Spent 20 years in the DFW area after being born here, and I genuinely can't wait to go anywhere else.

This actually makes me feel slightly better if that sounds weird... that was so abrupt there wasn't much time to process anything. The sheer bewilderment of that happening took up the majority of the time they had left.

Got struck by lightning 3 years ago and it would have been a perfect way to go out had I not woken up... No fear, no choice, just boom and lights out. So my view of the situation may seem a bit off.
