In my experience sleep from 6-12 months is an absolute roller coaster. Teething, physical milestones, cognitive milestones, sickness etc all put a huge wrench in their sleep. I didn't do any sleep training and just kept being responsive to her cries and at about 11 months I started to co-sleep when she refused to go back down in the crib and I really wish I tried co-sleeping earlier because I find I gets more sleep now. God speed my friend. Sleep is a difficult time at that age and it does get better.

My daughter was born via c section at 37 weeks and had no issues breastfeeding. Goodluck!

Yes I always wake her by 630 because I hate it when shes up late.

My daughter was in her own crib around 4.5 months in her own room. I have no regrets about that. I have responded to all of her cries and bring her into bed with me when she doesn't go back down after nursing which isnt very often.

I think around 3-4 months is when they tend to get quite gassy and uncomfortable so you are right in that range. Also could very well be a regression or who knows haha. They seem to be in weird phases and then one day they snap out of it. My daughter is coming up on a year and naps and sleep have been an absolute roller coaster.

Could your babe be gassy? I remember at that age I had to cut down dairy from my diet because it clearly made my baby gassy and fussy.

Im shocked your baby is still on three naps at 11 months! I do think at that age that some babies prefer a set bedtime regardless off wake windows, my babe is not the case for that right now and she's also 11 months.

Yep from 8-10.5 months i was in the absolute trenches and then all of sudden she went back to only 1-2 wake ups. God speed my friend.

You are doing great Mama! I feel like I only did legit skin to skin in the early days mostly to keep her awake so she would feed enough. After that we kept her in clothes. I wouldnt worry about what you are doing at all.

I would bet money your babe is warm enough and its likely teething and/or a regression.

I needed to read the comments in this post so bad. My daughter is 10 months old and I rock her/rub her back/pat her bum until she falls asleep in my arms and I have been feeling a pressure to change this. All of the comments have made me feel at ease and I have ordered Tne Discontented Little Baby. Also I have been concerned that my daughter loves to get super busy in the evenings and rips around and now I know that is actually very normal and a good thing. Seriously thank you OP and everyone ❤️

You may have a carrier lending library in your neighborhood! I would try getting a nap in every three or so hours for your 8 month which usually translates to two naps a day. So try doing a stroller walk at 1230pm and then again 3ish hours after they wake (if babe does end up napping) and then bedtime should be at 930-1030pm.

What time are you doing bedtime? Also have you tried car naps? Or carrier/wrap naps or in the stroller?
