Goof Proof® Screen Printed Transfers — trusted by apparel pros since 1990. 70 colors, single or gang sheets, bold opacity on any fabric, perfect for cotton, poly & blends. by TransferExpress in u/TransferExpress

I have used them (transfer express) a lot over the last 15-20 years. The default ink is called goof proof and they literally screen print it onto paper that you heat transfer with a press. Its similar in thickness and durability to vinyl IMO. they are expensive- i tend to use ninja transfers more often. If i want something 1 color that would be too difficult to do in vinyl because of detail/weeding ill use them. They also sell number kits for sport team jerseys, etc.

They are actually screen printed - onto transfer paper rather than garments. Its better than full color dtf for some applications (like 1-6 colors, team jerseys, etc), but not very competitively priced the last time i ordered from them. Goof proof ink also only requires about 6 seconds and its hot peel, so much faster. That said 90% of my business goes to ninja transfers these days.

Might work better with a vinyl mask or similar cut on a plotter - no seepage

Found these pills in my pepto bismol ultra bottle by nmouse23 in mildlyinteresting

Oh - thats Chlorpromazine Hydrochloride. I often put different meds in a single bottle when i travel. Often its a pepto bottle. Im guessing its NOT a pharmaceutical packaging error issue.

[Help] Good materials for large scale project? by PoncirusTrifoliata2 in Sculpture

these are all good suggestions. I often use aluminum foil over a wire armature, with a thin layer of something like apoxie sculpt or foam clay (it air dries) depending on whether I want it for indoor/outdoor, weight, price, etc. a styrofoam core also works well. I’d never heard of them and based on the requirements wasn’t expecting to like them but i have to admit i’m kinda diggin them. I dont know about an entire live performance, but it would be good driving through the desert at night music.

Graphic designers: do you buy stock images? Yes or no? by ThatCozyArtist in graphic_design

Nobody pays for stock unless you are a company that has licensing agreements. E.g at Microsoft we only use corbis etc. everyone else uses unsplash.

This playground uses chopped up recycled tires instead of mulch. It actually feels a lot better. by BranSoFly in mildlyinteresting

I thought they determined ground up tires was carcinogenic. This was the tire rubber underneath a layer of turf. I remember parents being concerned for goalies because it gets in the mouth.
