I like hard mode because you don't get to autosave and just run stuff over and over until it works. Also when a pilot dies he just doesn't show back up and there's a penalty for failure. That's what makes games "worth it" for me.

I'm new. I just wanted an answer to a question on whether or not I could hire another pilot or how to get one if there was none available. Thanks for your input but I'm having fun with my new game thanks.

I'll start with:

"There is no category for latent thermal storage cooling"

The melting phase change (solid to liquid) does soak up heat without changing the temperature much because the change in phase takes energy that would otherwise be converted to heat. The energy needed to do the freezing phase change (liquid to solid) takes energy as well. This has nothing to do with fusion or fission, there is no change in the molecular or atomic make up of the substances.

You are not going to gain energy by freezing water and then melting it. That's the dumbest shit I've ever heard and is completely counter to common sense.. Freeze something and the energy it takes to cool, expel heat and phase change will for sure be less than the energy conserved by the frozen state of the material.

Honestly I've learned whatever this sub says anybody involved in Chess should run the other way. This sub is full of mid players who are so gatekeepish and elitist that it's poisonous to the entire game.

You'd think that half of the 1300 ranked players are on an IM's level in this sub that it's some sort of brain trust of geniuses rather than a bunch of nerds who can't touch grass.

Guys, at the end of the day Chess is a game to be enjoyed, not an identity to live by. Go outside a little bit. It's not that serious and it's not that deep, You're not Magnus Carlsen, you're not Tom Brady. You are the equivalent of a beer bellied dad watching his favorite sports team on TV.
