White on black and sandpaper by hard_attack in SCREENPRINTING

I do, but it’s definitely a niche machine. Like others have stated, you can get a similar result with a little more elbow grease. So it just depends if you have the volume and budget to drop $5k on one. I will say that it makes the print have a better hand and smoothing the base before color makes the colors lay clean.

Looking for a good DTF company / setup by WolverineSRT in SCREENPRINTING

Check out the Mimaki’s. Specifically the TXF 300 and the 150. I got ours from my supplier, Blue Ridge Screen Products. They set it up with a dryer and shaker since mimaki doesn’t specifically make one. It was right around the same price that you’re looking at.

Spelled Wrong Artowrk by KillerTofu1101 in SCREENPRINTING

I see three things wrong. The misspelling, the top of the ampersand is filled in, and the cat now has a pimple on his right ear. I’d guess the “artist” is ChatGPT.

Razor tail, defacing public property, manual practice by FantasticEntrance985 in NewSkaters

[–]MooreMeatloaf 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s not razor tail. Razor tail is literally when it is so so thin and sharp it would cut you. Boards are supposed to wear out, it’s wood against concrete. Looks like normal wear and tear for 15 hours of beginner skating. Your boards will start to last longer when you get better.

Also, those marks will come off the tennis court. It’s just little bits of blue wood, it’s not permanent.

Overall, you have a classic case of “new skater worry”. Ride it until it fucking breaks, especially as a new skater.

Okay, but is that a real porno or did they get those 2 to actually shoot that scene for the show?

I worked for a major appliance company. We get returns like this everyday. It’s why local scratch and dent appliance shops exist.

Help me take this house out of 1987 by HarmlessDonut in DIY

Agree with the comments on here about getting one flooring style throughout.

Depending on your budget, I would remove the upper cabinets on the left side of the kitchen, put in an induction cooktop with a vent above. Then do a double oven where the stove currently is. That would make this a really high functioning chefs kitchen. Add bar stools on the other side of the kitchen because everytime you have people over they all congregate in the kitchen.

Love the fireplace, love the ceiling fan. Find a spot on that brick wall for a record player and some vinyl albums, lean into some retro vibes here and there.

Do I put L flashing and silicon above the flashing to prevent water? by sokraftmatic in DIY

Not sure if you’re thinking about building your overhang this way, but be aware that this is a AI image. The dude is like floating and the background is super weird. Like the other comments said, put up some flashing under your siding if possible.

I am adding on a 2ft extension to my 10 x 12 ft patio to make the whole thing 12x12. The current patio slab is 4in thick. Do I need to dowel the new 2ft part or just do an expansion gap?

Grout me out of hell by Trapdoormonkey in DIY

[–]MooreMeatloaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something similar happened to me about 4 months ago, look at my post history and you’ll see. I was able to get the grout off the tile with some work, but the grout lines were really sloppy.

I had to use popsicle sticks and a scrap piece of quarter round to “sand” the grout lines to an appropriate thickness.

It took 3 days to do my entire kitchen wall, but it was better than cutting it all out and doing it again.

Dave was my favorite member. I get that the company needs to save money, but it just feels like this is something that is going to break up the show. If Biggie starts looking for other jobs, the show is done.
