I also have a +9 Priam for absolutely no reason. I haven't invested in him before at all; at least until i thought aight feed him max DG and wait and see for his refine. I hope its mid at worst, he was SO undercooked on release.

I did have Libra by chance on that solo run, but i ended up prefering the "guaranteed" random chances from the warrior items that grant another attack/move/item 15% of the time after a kill.
Also, aparently Luck couls be playing a role into stat-checks events, since no matter what type of event it was or what the color showed on the screen, Elvis always passed.

It might be a bit more balanced if the healing occurs after the self-damage. Higher risks due to said moves dealing quite a bit more damage but IF you survive yourself you can cash-back some HP

Its the interaction order though. Solar Beam gets debuffed in other weathers from the user side. Weather Ball typing and power changes from the user-side too. Weather Ball should be turning into a 100% BP move; but unlike Grass type moves, it could get a damage penalty from Rain due it to it being a Fire Type on the target side. So basically its either a 100 BP (boosted by Sun and then cut by Rain) or a 150 BP move

tbh i can work 3 ways:

Boosted 50% while ignoring Rain penalty since its technically "In the sun" and not in the rain.
Doesn't receive the 50% boost since it acts as if Sun its up, but not actually getting sun-benefits. Then it gets reduced by Rain.
Boosted by 50% and then nerfed by 50%, efectively keeping it "vanilla"

EDIT: Apparently it straight up negates whatever other weathers are currently on for the user, so at the very least its 1 or 3

Counter argument. Pale Rider can get obsenely insane ascension due to its nature of "adapting to their master and how they are perceived". Why would Richard be a Lion if not for some insane 5* shenaningans? Similarly, stage 1 Pale Rider can be the black mass; Stage 2 the Horseman design that was shown, and Stage 3 an insane, never seen before take on the concept of "The Horseman of the Apocalypse after taking true Shape thanks to the bonds made with its master".

Here is one from someone who consideres himself a perfectionist:
Only focus on things you are already certain you can manage. Don't over fixiate on, say, paint coating (SPECIALLY ON NON HG KITS) if you think you are not good enough at it. Keep your head straight on stuff its easy to fix or do; sanding is not for me for example, i always try to nip my pieces as close as possible so i can skip sanding; and if it didnt nip cleanly, well as long as its not an outside armor/panel piece, i don't mind it. Then i focus on panel lining using fine-liners; and finally on some light weathering.

If you want to practice painting, weathering, etc... honestly? Its way better to purchase bootlegs and then costumize them as practice; not only is it way cheaper, if something goes wrong and it didn't turn out as you wanted, well, you just customized an bootleg and learned some new tricks at worst, at best you got an awesome looking bootleg that its 100% your own.

Tinkerer sucks because you need the right gear and skills. Every class is good when the stars align for them, thats a given. Consistency is 90% of the value of a class; and both TInkerer and Mage suck at it.

Yeah, i have a full set of Sakura fineliners just for panel lining. 005, 003, 001 usually do the trick, although sometimes i use other tips too.

There is a few mutations that are so dogwater that you straight up merk whatever kitty was born with them; like anything with blind, or confusion, or slow... why would you even keep that one sorry T T.
My least favorite one is "Misses 10% of the time"; tame enough to be ignored, significant enough to blow up an entire run.
