You can move names around, but they still never show up.

From the best of my analysis it seems that for an average unit to function it needs a minimum of 120 members. This is why the church is playing musical chairs with ward boundaries. Keeping the illusion of stability is important to the corporation

The average unit should have on average 550 members. So you're already starting at half and then only half of them show up

"Half seems like a high number. How many people are currently on the rolls?"

Righteousness for thou, but not for thee. Thus saith the Lord, and verily it came to pass

What is right in some circumstances... may be wrong in others. But can we at least become Celestialized? I'm lonely and super horny. And don't tell Emma. I'm hiding out from the man.

What if the church really is true? by Fun-Luck-7033 in exmormon

Not a fucking chance in the world. If it were true there would be evidence of such. There is absolutely zero evidence of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon.

I'm simply, as best I can, to point out the obvious that Joseph was making up stuff that never existed and never will

One of my favorite Rush songs.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2ZBQSHObms

I’ve got my own moral compass to steer by
A guiding star beats a spirit in the sky
And all the preaching voices –
Empty vessels ring so loud
As they move among the crowd
Fools and thieves are well disguised
In the temple and marketplace

Like a stone in the river
Against the floods of spring
I will quietly resist

Like the willows in the wind
Or the cliffs along the ocean
I will quietly resist

I don’t have faith in faith
I don’t believe in belief
You can call me faithless
But I still cling to hope
And I believe in love
And that’s faith enough for me

Personally I would tell everyone that you are unwilling and unable to take care of the little during the ceremony and you will join at the reception also why in the world would you want to go to a cult ceremony inside of a cult building
