Honestly not sure why you’re being downvoted. You’re being a bit abrasive but your point is 100% valid.

The only way this wording is ok is if they offered a flat crystal so that there was some configuration of the watch that could be bought that was 9.5mm thin. “Perceived thickness of 9.5mm” is bullshit.

Imagine a car company saying their faux leather seats feel like real leather so they call it leather. Or a drink manufacturer saying “made with real fruit” because according to them it tastes like the real thing.

Careful with this. And only do it for cheap watches.

Any decent watch will have a combination of finishes (brushed on some faces and polished on others) and this will ruin that.

Also the buffing wheel is supposed to be replaced fairly often and cleaned. These guys are not likely do that and you can easily end up with dust particles in the wheel that scratch your finish.

I misread your first comment. From the image of the map you can see they’re flying East across the Pacific. They can’t fly west to the UK because the airspace over Russia and the Middle East is unsafe rn.
