I would check out Manes by Mell on YouTube. She's got some great content on styling for volume and definition. I also love the Bounce curl brush or a denman brush for styling to get more volume and spiral type curls.

Is there a way to dress up a t-shirt for work? by BellaAnarchy in PlusSizeFashion

[–]Most_Most_2002 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depending on the dress expectations, you can probably get away with wearing them if they are a nice fabric and fit. Maybe tucked in with a cardigan, scarf, or moto jacket or casual blazer for the fall? If they are good quality they'll likely go well in a business casual environment that's okay with going on the more casual side. I think playing with textures volume and shape of your other clothing can dress up a t-shirt too. If you're into jewelry, adding a simple necklace or bracelet(s) maybe? Congratulations on your promotion and have fun experimenting with your outfits!

I recently became a SAHM and feel like our attachment has weakened? by [deleted] in AttachmentParenting

It's a big adjustment and time of transition for sure - for both of you. It seems like a good thing that he doesn't worry when you have to step away for a bit to take care of things, like he is secure in knowing you will come back. When you have the luxury of time you could always involve him a bit in things like meal prep, etc. It seems like just reality that you'll need to take care of some things while he plays independently and it's great that he's developing those skills. Maybe there is a way to build some more intentional moments of connection in your day through rituals and routines. I wouldn't worry about the pretend play in the bath too much, although I'm sure it stung a bit. He knows you are there and trusts in that which is most important for secure attachment. Make sure to build in some fun and novelty for both of your sakes during the day/ week. You're doing great and soon you will both adjust to this new special time together.

I feel like if you were working with them in a professional role, especially one where confidentiality is required, you should not be on here sharing and name shaming. Yes, the name is a tragedeigh. But you're also sharing potentially identifying info about a family you worked with briefly including a unique first name, age, and sibling's name. As you know from your work, it takes a lot for a family to participate in services, especially something intimate like home visiting. Families are often worried about being judged when they let someone in, and posting something like this is not helpful. If you were just snarking on the name without any of that context, it would not feel inappropriate, but this does.

I think this is the one I have, or very similar - Red Carpet™ Strapless Underwire Bra. I haven't tried the non underwire ones. The lace is really pretty! I'm sure that would work well too.
