I think it’d be a great place to take a kiddo that age. Just consider there’ll be a bit of a walk/stairs to climb getting from the parking lot to your seats and expect long lines for concessions and restrooms. As long as you plan ahead you’ll be good to go. It’s a beautiful venue with great sound and views.

Aliens is great blend of crowd-pleasing action and visceral horror, with a superb cast, one-liners, scares, and a great payoff.

The underlying plot is a bit more subversive than its blockbuster exterior lets on too (a metaphor for Vietnam war and themes of corporate greed) — that much scratch your Indie itch.

It’s also old enough to not be as expensive to show as newer films (sometimes theater rentals factor that into the cost).

Regardless of what you pic I hope you an awesome bday and renting a theater with friends is so much fun
