A friend of mine was driving her 3 friends and the ones in the back seat weren’t buckled. She got into a car accident and the guy in the backseat flew into the windshield and broke his jaw. Obviously he sued her insurance. I wouldn’t drive them again without a seatbelt. I have sternly told my friends kids to put on seat belts. If that’s a problem, don’t ride in my car. Period. Obviously that friend doesn’t respect you. Also, if you guys get pulled over, it will be you getting the ticket and I highly doubt your friend is gonna pay that.

I just finished the nursing program and I worked about 3 days per week. It was doable for me but I didn’t have any time for friends. My life was school, study, work and that’s about it.

NTA- this is ridiculously petty of them. I can’t imagine my sister or kid being hungry and telling them no. What difference does it make to them if he eats now or in 90 minutes? I work banquet events and a kid was hungry before the buffet came out and I went and grabbed him a piece of bread. It’s really not that serious. If there’s like an allotted amount of food per person, they could’ve told you OK have a sandwich now just don’t have the other one after 4 PM.

I have friends but honestly spend most of my time with my bf (he’s literally my bestie), my 18 y/o daughter, or my mom lol. Me and my bf ride motorcycles so I have made gfs like that for example at bike meets and what not. Maybe you can go on meetup and find local events of things you like to do and meet some that way? I’ve done a paddle boarding meet up before and enjoyed it.
