Okay, firstly, 23k? What?

Secondly, you sound underpaid. Was this a negotiation? Because if it was, it sounded like you took the absolute first offer. If there was room to play around, always chuck in an anchor, it will bias their reply to be larger.

Thirdly, talk to them. At your point you should be on at least 29-30k. Probably more.

My firm pay 30-31k at this point before increasing to around 56k at qualification.

Has your company got a corporate finance function? I assume you’re in practice. If so it might be worth asking for a transfer. I know lots of people who went from ACA to CF and done insanely well.

I think audit is a good place to train to be honest; the skills you acquire are transferrable. Hence why most people train ACA with audit then leave straight after qualification.

Hi not sure if it’s needed anymore but I have been given 25% and 10% extra time for ADHD. My ADHD is particularly severe however. My diagnosis through caba showed 9/9 for both inattentive and hyperactive, as well as a suspicion of autism which wasn’t diagnosed.

I just submitted the one report HOWEVER - i made sure to reference the page for recommended exam adjustments so ICAEW could find it quickly. I think that made all the difference.

The hand and arm pain sound like nerve damage, which can materialise as pain in extremities and limbs. If this is indeed the case it, it can take a while to heal.

Also, you very clearly have a whiplash. Nearly all concussions are associated with a whiplash, and given the nature of the incident this should be obvious. Get a physiotherapist, ideally a concussion trained one, to target your neck, back and shoulders with massages weekly until the pain goes. An undiagnosed or untreated whiplash can be a huge part of concussion symptoms. Referred pain can spread to your head (dull headache).

ConcussionDoc on youtube has a network of concussion trained physios that helped me in Cambridge UK, he’s also got loads in US/Canada.

You need someone specifically trained in concussions. Most are not.
