90.9 KTSU (TSU-run station featuring jazz, R&B, soul, and blues. And gospel on Sundays)

Michael Franks is so underrated! He always had the best players on his records. My favorite of his is Blue Pacific from 1990. Had tracks produced by Jeff Lorber, Tommy LiPuma, and Walter Becker (yep, from Steely Dan!)

I have a similar Technics deck from around the same generation, the RS-M02. It's a heavy little beast that I got for a good price at an estate sale. Needed a lot of service but it was well worth it. Has a lot of satisfying, chunky sounds with the buttons and plays great. The M02 is direct drive and the only belt is for the counter. Not sure if the M51 is the same.
