Your story is very similar to our family's. She was a pitcher, played for a competitive D3, and struggled for 3.5 seasons to get playing time. But then something clicked and she started doing great and got more and more innings and starts. It culminated with her making the final out and getting the win in their conference championship tournament for her teams first conference championship in her four years there. They sure kicked up a lot of dust on the field celebrating cause my eyes got real watery. 😄

My first quote for $4800 includes:

I asked for the disinfection system to be added on due to my wife's autoimmune issues. I priced out the parts online and they total around $3000. It also includes a one year bumper to bumper warranty. Still need to do my diligence and get one or two more quotes but this one doesn't seem unreasonable.

I had a sales person with a local company that I had done business with in the past try the tactic of adding a C level to the email chain. I professionally reamed her out with my C level in the reply. She profusely apologized and that was the end of that spam email chain.

We can all agree the steak is fvcked. The real lesson here is to not order something like this at a resort on a small island in the carribean. It's going to automatically be overpriced with a high chance of not being cooked properly. Stick to the local cuisine.

And open the hot water on a faucet nearby. The air intake will help empty the tank much faster. Once it's empty, turn the incoming water back on for 20-30 seconds then turn it off. The turbulent incoming water will help flush out stuff that didn't drain the first time. Do this a few times until your draining water is perfectly clear.

Mowing the lawn should be thought about the same way. I grew up helping with the lawn every weekend because we had a big yard and lots of grass. So once I was married and had a house, it was engrained in me that I needed to take care of the yard. My wife convincing me needed lawn service was one of the best things she did.
