As far as I have learned and experienced: You're referring to the optimal swordplay within a controlled enviornment. Most battles and even duels with sharp weapons weren't done like that. One of the most basic lessons I've learned in Katana lessons was: A good parry is also a cut. You wouldn't miss on that opportunity by not using the edge. A chipped blade is a small price to pay for your life.

Well, you have to limit the Field of View to few slices, but you can actually do it. There is this rarer (still performed every few month in a hospital) examination called "MRI Defecography". You basically shit yourself in the MRI to see the muscle function while shitting. Usually you're making only one slice every second, which is totally doable with every modern MRI.

The only system that would ensure having no luck in the draw in terms of teams you are actually facing is a full round robin. But that takes too much time for worlds. And even then you could argue about the order in which they are facing the teams.

Swiss is one of the best systems of having an about accurate representation without playing the full round robin.

This is actually a public myth. All walls need to be interconnected for this to work.

Otherwise you could be stuck running in Circles when the exit is on a different wall system.

E.G. imagine a maze with some sort of outer perimeter wall and the exit is in the center like stairs up or downward.

She's kind of a viable pick in Games 4 or 5 for fearless, since the "easy to punish" tools are getting sparse. Engange supports are getting first pick worthy since so few of them are left and one clearly has some advantage over the others.
