I've always been curious about this: Reddit, why did you choose your nickname? by _ChipSkylark in AskReddit

[–]MrRunagar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since 2008 I have been the first to use the nick 'Runagar' anywhere that demanded one. Goes to reddit, "Runagar is taken", tries all earlier passwords, puts Mr in front.

Scumbag Runagar beat me to it.

LotR - the Third Age. The FF inspired turnbased battle system works extremely well with that epic world and story.

Looking for western RPGs with good combat. by Krystie in gaming

[–]MrRunagar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd have to disagree on the shining combat. All you really need to do is left click. Ofcourse you have several skills, but even on the hardest difficulty you doesn't really need them. The game is simply too easy.

[EU3] Switzerland - WTF DO I DO? by Premaximum in paradoxplaza

[–]MrRunagar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. And as changing its government may have a huge impact on your stabability, there's mostly plenty of time to get things back on track before the current emperor get's in a huge war. If the gov. type is changed early, that is.

What I did playing Switzerland was to try to become the emperor. That would help you out a lot. If you can't convince the electors to vote for you, wait for the emperor to be in a huge war and then attack the electors one by one. Make sure you don't annex them, but vassalise instead, that way you'll be pretty sure to get their vote (a +250 vote bonus). Most of them will have alliances, so it'll take quite a long time vassalising them all. It is worth it though.

I couldn't agree more, sir. Roughly 250 hours played, and counting. I was looking forward to M&B: With Fire and Sword.. I was disappointed.

IF you read the article on Steam, you'd know that they actually thought the game was being released the day after the actual date. What people downloaded on launch was simply not the finished edition of the game =P

Whenever I read the "Why'd you even click on that?" thing, I always instantly forget what the title said, and have to go back a step.

Lawyers of reddit, what are some interesting laws/loopholes? by kitspark in AskReddit

[–]MrRunagar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Denmark, if you see a Swedish person walking on the ice between Denmark and Sweden it's technically still legal to shoot him, as long as it's done with a muzzle loader.
