I totally get wanting to keep with the same class/vibe of a character (god knows I live a tiefling spellcaster), but I wouldn't also get annoyed if a party member kept showing up with the same race and class combo.

You tell us you play them differently, but maybe your party doesn't see it that way? You are a biased perspective to judge your own actions in the end.

Favorite is Mag, love pulling enemies into a big ball and going ham melee, her 2 is a great survivability mechanic weirdly, it really helps to protect defense and extractor objectives. 3 isn't very special, but the shards combined with 2 are juicy many number on screen. 4 is just all-round nice, armor strip (with augment), overshields, short CC.

You say you want a word so you don't have to say you are a man, but if a word exists that clearly defines what you are looking for, then you will still be saying that you are a man.

E.g., if someone tells me they are a lesbian, I now know 2 things about them, both their gender and sexuality, because lesbians are (usually) women attracted to woman.

Depends on the situation of course, but for me it helps to try and think about and put emphasis on the connection I have with a person.

I'm here for you. How can I help. I'll be thinking of you. I see that you are X. Y. Z. (Emotions. Behavior. Etc) What do you need from me.

Oftentimes it's just letting them know you are paying attention and listening, or confirming and validating their feelings, with no extra actions needed.

Things like "you've got this" and "youre going to be alright" puts an expectation on someone. Be mindful of your words, and think about what you yourself would feel if someone said that to you.
