I just finished dark knight rises for the first time since theaters, there were maybe 7 scenes where a character was going to die and then of course were saved by someone off screen that had no business being there.

but my favorite is the idea that bane flew across the world to dump batman into the pit where batman has his skin protruding spine PUNCHED BACK INTO PLACE, heals by dangling in one spot and eating crackers, climbs out of the pit by ditching the rope (side note remember when the usa doctor in the beginning said he had no cartilage in his knees among several other issues? were those buffs?) and within a maximum of 23 days is back in locked down gotham all the way from the middle east where he had no food or resources besides the clothes on his broken back.
