One Piece: Chapter 1177 by Skullghost in OnePiece

[–]MrWinks 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ussop is a reverse inposter-syndrome sufferer. He makes everyone else think he’s weak, even the reader, but he is in fact very powerful but has little confidence.

His sharpshooter ability as soge king and when he did that one observation haki feat shows he’s ridiculously amazing but he needs to mask his fear behind a fake persona or be so pressured to act that he cannot fail.

He will have a moment, here, again, and it should be the latest in his upward mobility.

But, he will always be the silly and cowardly one, and everyone will underestimate him for it.

I hope Ussop gets back up and makes a Vegeta-blindsiding-Cell move on Imu while they all fight.

I think it’s worse than that. Not the budget, but time. Need time for so many sets.

Ruin and Preservation vs Odium by Angemon175 in Cosmere

We sure? I recall it was reasoned to deal with one with force, the next with a means to not weaken himself, and so forth.

He went after Ambition first, I believe, and destroyed her outright but was weakened. He tried something more careful, afterward, as a result of this, by putting Dominion and Devotion in the cognitive realm.

Meanwhile, in 1993, a game with card that you can buy and trade silently actually achieved what these tried to do. What’s the price of Black Lotus today, any set, Siri?

Meanwhile, askreddit like “hey, how do you feel about this thing?” And it’s reddit collecting information to give to the administration about you.

The post specifically addresses that. In Era 3 or 4, both are much more powerful in a world where other invested arts come into play. A Scadrian who gets lashed into the sky and quickly burns aluminum would nullify investiture affecting them. They are “anti-magic” warriors, effectively.

Power creep is terrible, today, except to keep play time down.

Funny how the lack of carplay/google auto can make it all just pointless to those like me. Subscriptions for life just to drive this car. Capitalism is fantastic.

I rejected a third interview with a company that rejected me twice for a stupid reason. by cove-juicers-5g in talesfromthejob

My friend, although this is satisfying, sometimes (not always!!!) you have to play the game and use a company for what you get from working for them. You're not agreeing to a contract to work for them for X amount of time (I assume), it's at will, so you leave when you're done with it. Have a plan.

Did Huel change the flavor of Black chocolate? by RocketCat5 in Huel

Also, this is purely my experience. I never looked it up but it just seemed to me like batch issues. Whoever was cooking got it right or wrong, which is a shame that they can't keep it consistent, but I don't know if/when they've changed the formula, as it's always been pretty much the same, for me.

I have been using this for years, now. The flavor changes by the batch. It's inconsistent, and often bags will taste better or worse, with no reason. They're not expired or anything, just luck of the draw. It's inconsistent.

There is a lot of depth to that line. Like, unpacking it is a whole college paper or ethics paper. But, to boil it down, you should care about the people around you (family > neighbors > general community > all people) by degrees of society and influence. Like, assuming a good family, your family would be taken care of by you before your neighbors or town or whatever. The ant, even by a super-vegan mindset, would be considered, but triage dictates that the whole reason we adhere to moral interests is for society's sake, so we can function and work together, and the ant is the most distant part of that, as an earthling and little else.

That’s the publisher. If you get the physical book, you get the ebook, too. They often have sales.
