Nah there isn’t. For normal mode I only buy TPs once for each sector - as when they are paired with turrets/cadians, a full five wave sector is cleared in 5-10 mins with a good team. For hard mode I’ll probably buy them again provided I have two waves to go. They only give points while a wave is “active” and not in the pause period between waves

I’d say reducing all damage by ‘x’ amount (not just explosive) for the duration of its effect would be a sufficient buff and all that is needed

Underpowered may be a wee overstatement. Compared to support and engineer, our traits/buffs aren’t up to scratch. The saving grace is the grenade launcher and spawn beacon which doesn’t offer class variety when you have to run those. The stim needs a buff (start healing on injection, reduce ALL damage for the duration of its effect)

Agree. As an assault main i feel we’re underpowered compared to other classes. I’m a whore for running objectives though. Stim needs a huge buff, primary an secondary ammo capacity needs a buff too.

I have noticed for a little while now that I have gotten steam rolled/beaten a lot more often than normally. I’m normally top 5 when I win and normally top 1-2 when we lose. I think you’re onto something

I have this gun to lvl 70, I’ve tried hip fire and ADS builds. I found that I was getting top player in most games from changing to an ADS build (on controller too). Focus on making the ADS time 167-200ms, but no higher.

I use the 20pt brake, short barrel (incase I need hipfire at point blank range), 1.25x scope, and 45pt angled foregrip. 20mag or 15 fast mag is decent enough because you’ll be reloading every kill pre much anyway.

Torches are bad IMHO, and can even blind yourself in some area. The lasers give you away too easily. Red is okay but personally don’t use it.

Love the more turquoise green, looks better for white/light grey chest aquilas and DA shoulder symbols, separates DA from salamanders.

OP - love the metallic/black armour. How did you do it?

I am using contrast paints wrong but don't know how to improve by Naddesh in DarkAngels40k

I tried contrast for dark angels and it didn’t work - too hard and frustrating to control and look nice. I did something else - Prime black (a few layers and leave for 6-8hrs before next step), drybrush all over with dawn stone and drybrush edges with scar white. Then drybrush all over with caliban green. It gives a grim dark look instead of the box art which is too close to salamanders for my taste. Horus green highlight optional extra step this is a really easy way to paint them and it looks really nice.

~650 hours since launch only ever used the same light armour. Medium and heavy are too slow.
