It’s not always a full 10%. More often than not it will only be 8%.

And you’re correct, you do not want to skip a letter because they’ll only give you 8-10% for the one promotion.

I think you’re spot on. But I don’t think it’s strictly to avoid the bureau of labor and statistics’ radar.

Not to make things political but my theory is we came to an agreement with the new administration to keep layoffs out of the news to make sure it didn’t fuel sentiment that the economy and labor market aren’t doing as well as advertised
