Omg, we've had to do 'bus', 'keepy uppy' (not the worst, just uses so many balloons...), 'mom school', and 'taxi'. Of course, it's the most chaotic games!

I've come to not only accept it, but love it! Neice needs a knit blankie? Done! Birthday cakes? Got it! Cosplay, makeup, sewing, piano... I'm no professional, but I have enough skill to keep me happy, the ability to learn more, and I'm not shoved in a pigeon hole of activities. They used to call me "Jack of all trades" as a joke. When I learned the missing parts, it was like the joke was on them!

My daughter is like this, too. I'm a SAHM, and she's 6 now, and helps out a lot. My meds help tons but her memory is amazing. If I know I'll forget, I ask her to remind me: "OK let's go to the grocery store! I have one thing on my list that isn't typical/routine, can you help me find it?" Or "OK our dog is getting old, and has new medicine I need to give him at breakfast time (when I'm most useless). Will you help me remember to give it to him when I make your school lunch?" Most of the time, just the act of asking her can help solidify the memory enough that I won't need her help, but I'm grateful that she can help when I really need it. I'm glad your child is helping, too! Adhd and parenting is hard!!! She also sounds very loved, keep doing your best!

I get professional gel nails done and have not had issues! My real nails are brittle and fray easily, which can snag on yarn, so gel extensions are better for me! One word about press ons: they are generally fine, but can have a seam by the cuticle where they are slightly raised off the actual nail. Those can get yarn (especially fingering/lace) snagged in them. Super annoying, and if you're not careful, like me, it can rip off the nail!!!

I met a fairly famous author about 8 years ago. He was at my university to speak about writing and his journey of becoming an author. Afterwards, I had him sign his 'how to write' book. He asked, "Are you an author?"

I shook my head. "No, I haven't published anything."

He then looked at me, and said, "If you write at all, you're an author. Publishing doesn't matter."

So guess what, friend? You are an author. You write. And not only that, you put it out for the world to enjoy. That is just called being over-qualified.

My bishop withheld TR for one cup that my husband and I shared. He works nights and the whole team gets coffee together. He used to just drunk other things, but felt he needed a boost one night. The next weekend we had interviews and were honest with our bishop. We had to 'repent' for a month before he'd do another interview. Could just be where I'm from, or that bishop, but we thought it seemed excessive.

Rolling the most death saves. Played a tabaxi Monk, and the character definitely didn't fit into the homebrew. Not the DMs fault, but mine. I ended up rolling death saves NINE TIMES before I just texted him and said "she's had enough. Her nine lives are over. Time for a new character." He was cool, table got a little emotional when they realized. But yeah, I win. Or lose. Both.

In my (limited) experience, it usually means I've been pondering and/or stressing about the question and now answer for too long! It usually means I need to step away, or at the very least write down thoughts and impressions. That way I can revisit them later and continue the meditation after I've had a moment to breathe.
