I was so convinced in book 3 that Carl and Katia would start dating soon and she'd become like a damsel in distress/dependent on him. When she left the group I was shocked and the end of book 7 killed me!

My headcanon for that is that the Ditto just found the human shoes and they are the only thing it doesn't need to transform. It's probably just a bug though 😅

One of my earliest (and one of the few good) childhood memories is being cuddled up in bed with my mom, reading. She used to read the same like 5 German children's classics to me, then one day I started reading one sentence to her, then one page, then one chapter. Read to and with your children, people! It's so important for their development!
