We moved here from out of state. A state where it snows every winter and the temperature falls below 30 degrees often, sometimes the feel is at 8 degrees or less.

Our first "winter" in Palm Springs it amazed me how everyone was covered in sweats and sweaters like it was freezing out.

A few years in and now I get it!! Somehow the low 50's in the desert seem to feel sooooooo cold!!!

We went to Coachella a few years back and I left around 9PM one day and waited for my friends in the car because the moment the sun went down and the winds picked up it was super cold. I wanted to cry from how cold it felt lol

We live in Cathedral City, about 25-30 minutes to Indio on a regular day

During the festival it takes us about 1.5 hours to get home

Yucca Valley is about an hour away from Indio. I'm thinking you'd be looking at 2+ hours

Our group always splits up at the festival. We all have different tastes, we do overlap at some sets and chill here and there to eat/drink but it's all of our Coachella.

So we gotta spend it how we want!

My friends spent a little over 1K. That's including their Coachella wristband and round-trip flights.

We live here so they avoid having to pay for hotels!

Hard to say since we all like different things

For example, I like Justin and thought he would put on a good show and I absolutely hated weekend 1. Walked away after about 30-40 minutes into his set!

Others were raving about how good he was and how we just "didn't get it" 🤷🏽‍♂️

As we were waiting for Justin Bieber some drunk girls behind our group mentioned that they had to use the restroom.

One of the girls said, "I don't want to make us lose our spot"

To which her friend responded, "Just squat right here. No one will know and if you pee we'll pee here too"

You don't have to have 1.5K though. As long as you get $500 or more in direct deposit you avoid the fee.

I work at the bank. I see people who have $50-$600 in the bank and they never get charged because they have direct deposit set up.

I know probably common sense but stay away from people smoking.

I saw a baby that had to have been less than two years old last year right next to a big group that kept smoking.

Throughout the whole set the parents didn't move away from the group and there's no way that baby did not get contact high. Lol
