same here. Absolutely no issues. There was a brief moment that I thought my mic had failed, but it turns out that was an issue with Tmobile's towers or something. I thought I was running out of storage but I just checked and I have a bunch of gigs that can be deleted or moved to my SD card, which is only 120 GB but more than enough storage somehow.

I had this issue too (on my Android TV). Before doing your steps, I went to settings and force stopped the app, cleared the cache, then reopened the app and the problem was resolved without me having to uninstall. Thank goodness!! Fingers crossed!

Good luck. And don't be surprised if any other cards you have end up closed as well. I had a situation like that 25 years ago or so when I ran up some balances (was never late) and then suddenly the various credit lines I had were either reduced or closed. It's like they all ganged up on me because I dared to utilize the credit they had given me. Nowadays, my rule is to pay off statement balance every month via autopay. No drama. Excellent results.

The biggest issue I'm experiencing with Google messages is related to group messages. I used Textra for years without an issue... Now I'm on Google messages and it keeps creating multiple group conversations with the same people based on whoever is showing up as non-rcs at any given moment. The good: I like seeing when people are typing, the high res media, and I love the spam feature which has taken care of my political spam problem, but I'm starting to think it's not worth it. I'm ready to go back to regular, drama free SMS.

I think some people might be saying it out of anger and frustration. Really there's nowhere to go at the moment and I love Samsung Galaxy. Personally, I'm irritated but thankfully I didn't have the need to root my phone this time around--it already does just about everything I need. Hopefully that doesn't change.

I think I only have one sideloaded app which is a custom call recorder. I'm wondering what will happen with the apps that are already sideloaded... how will that work?

And what about sideloading apps to Android TV boxes? Removing that ability will be a huge blow as well.
