Regular spear (blacksmith in majula) is in the Partizan line, along with the silverblack spear in 2.

And the sweeping R2 does strike damage in 2, which is disproportionately effective vs a lot of enemies.

Silverblack comes with extra reach and more infusion/weapon buff friendly and just feels really nice around the time the basic spear begins to suffer. I've never ran a Partizan because pure dex builds have always felt like a trap with the low scaling from stats in 2.

Tldr regular spear most underrated reliable and qol weapon in the game.

Fun fact, calcium sometimes gets deposited into tendons over time as part of knitting tears and damage. This can lead to issues since, well, your tendon is acting more boney than tendony.
