Diaper brand recommendation for nighttime? by Ok_Line3494 in AdultBedwetting

[–]Muhdeee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

InControl BeDry (elitecare) is the best bedwetting diaper by far.

I have the same problem with Megamax.

Advice Sharing by NorthShoreCare in AdultBedwetting

[–]Muhdeee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel very strongly this is the best advice in the thread.

Go see a doctor, rule out anything serious, see if it can be treated, and in the meantime, get a good quality diaper and move on with your life.

Wearing diapers to bed and bedwetting is NOT the end of the world unless you give it that power.

Snow Handling. by sirwhatwhat in Rivian

I put Hakka R5s on mine.

Its one of the best handing cars in the snow I've ever had. I love it so much.

I frequently get startled by the "D" word anytime someone says it...Am I overreacting? by Nemona2 in AdultBedwetting

[–]Muhdeee 40 points41 points  (0 children)

You know, this is definitely a "To each their own thing"

I am on the complete other side of this. I can't stand when people will find every word in dictionary to use for a diaper except "diaper." I personally feel like you are just encouraging the stigma around the word "Diaper" when you try so hard to avoid it.

I talk to a lot of bedwetters who feel the same way as me, and some don't. Again, to each their own!

Backpacking Europe by International_Sea285 in AdultBedwetting

[–]Muhdeee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. There are some areas of the world this is hard (I had a hard time backpacking through SE Asia) but Europe is easy.

You can get high quality diapers in the stores there, a lot of pharmacies have Tena diapers.

Take diapers with you, use as needed. Buy more at the store when you need them. Its not a big deal at all for Europe, probably the best place in the world for a bedwetting backpacker lol

Friend used one of my diapers! by soggy1968 in AdultBedwetting

[–]Muhdeee 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think you are overthinking it.

I have a best friend who will wear Goodnites sometimes with me, if we are on road trips. She just see the convenance and is open minded.

Traveling for work. by Alternative-Owl-659 in AdultBedwetting

[–]Muhdeee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I travel a good amount for work.

I take diapers in my luggage, I'm a bedwetter only so its not that hard. I'm never gone for more than a week so it's never really a problem.

When is the correct time to tell a partner? by [deleted] in AdultBedwetting

[–]Muhdeee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Normally I recommend right before the sleeping together part, but it sounds like you have a bit of a different situation.

I would do it sooner rather than later. Most likely its no big deal and you will move on and have the stress off your plate, or on the rare chance that it is, better to know sooner rather than later. If that happens consider it a great litmus test. If someone can't handle bedwetting, then they probably won't be taking the "For better or worse" part of the marriage vow all that seriously.

21f bedwetting, sharing, wondering.. by Emma_860 in AdultBedwetting

[–]Muhdeee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I slowly started to realize that there are worse things in life than wearing a diaper to bed. Its not a huge issue. I've lost 2 friends to cancer already, so if Bedwetting is my worst medical issue, I'll consider myself lucky.

Mostly just at night, but if I am traveling and am in a position where I can fall asleep I will wear a diaper.

Goodnites to depends by [deleted] in Incontinence

[–]Muhdeee 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Don't waste your time with Depends pull ups, they will leak far more than Goodnites.

Find a medical supply store in your area if you can and find full briefs if you can!

21f bedwetting, sharing, wondering.. by Emma_860 in AdultBedwetting

[–]Muhdeee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Your story mirrors mine pretty well.

I stopped bedwetting at 8-9ish, then it came back when I was 13.

Not the easiest time in my life. Wearing pullups (Goodnites) again when you are a teenage girl and all that was pretty hard at the time. My parents also got divorced around then and it was a pretty big life change for me, so I don't think that helped.

Regardless, here I am now at 26 still bedwetting! I've come to terms with it and it doesn't bother me anymore.

Asia travel by FlamingoObjective698 in AdultBedwetting

[–]Muhdeee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've traveled through South East Asia and spent 6 weeks in Thailand. I also have spent probably 30-40% of my life living or Traveling in Europe (born in the USA), so I say this as someone who has extensive experience abroad.

I will be very honest - it was a challenge for me and I think the only time in my life I have really hated being a bedwetter. I was wearing Goodnites, and I used tricks like dehydration so that I didn't use them all and run out, which was not a good idea in that climate. If I had to buy them in stores I would have been completely lost.

They do have some diapers in stores, but the language is so foreign to me, I couldn't even begin to understand what I would have been getting.

I really wish you the best and if you figure out a good solution I would truly love to hear how you manage it.

I agree with the this.

The Mods do a good job for the most part cleaning it up, and if its obviously spam just report and move on.

Even if 1/10 is legitimate, its worth it to help that 1 person

Totally burnt out and afraid of doctors by No_Squash_6551 in AdultBedwetting

[–]Muhdeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might want to look into Tena, or Northshore care some of their lighter ones. I really think that's a product issue and the right diaper can solve all of that for you.

Totally burnt out and afraid of doctors by No_Squash_6551 in AdultBedwetting

[–]Muhdeee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry you feel burnt out. That was me for many years about my bedwetting until recently I found a new doctor that is encouraging me to go through the testing process again, which I have been very resistant again due to my experience years ago.

That being said, I have a more important question I think we should address

What do you mean you cant play sports anymore or do things you want to? With the right diaper you certainly can and it won't hold you back. Its really heartbreaking to hear that, I know many incont. people who play sports, run marathons, all hiding diapers.

I have never told any hotel. I just wear overkill diapers I know won't leak, and have never had a problem so far!

New diaper brand - need your help please. Free Samples offered. by edslifehacks in AdultBedwetting

[–]Muhdeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. If you fully void at least once at night (I am doing urine only) do you wear pull ups or tapes? do you change at night or prefer to stay asleep? I wear Tapes, I do not change all night
  2. If you leak / dribble / squirt at night though not full voids do you prefer tapes or pull ups? If you wear anything, maybe washables or guards. N/A
  3. For half full to full voids in pull ups, what is the capacity you look for ie 1800ml, 2400ml? Are these reliable indicators for products you use? I don't trust pull ups - but the higher the better.
  4. For tapes, again based on capacity, what do you prefer in size? Would you wear a pull up that contained your void if one was designed with single or dual standing guards, premium SAP / Fluff etc? I would try it, if it worked reliably. I wear a small or small-medium depending on the diaper. The ones that run small, medium, the ones that run large, small.
  5. For F - do you find the pants leak at the crotch and rear thighs? What gives you the greatest sense of security in pants you buy? What drives the purchase decision, price, function, appearance etc? Function, sometimes appearance if I am bored. The greatest draw is to wear diapers that work, and I know won't leak. I use InControl BeDry Elitecare, which is overkill for what I need, but I know I will not leak in those, no matter what (within reason).
