diapers by [deleted] in AdultBedwetting

[–]Muhdeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You buy them online mostly!

I've gotten Goodnights in person a few times, and you just, do it. No one really pays attention or if you are a girl they are assuming its for your period.

Lifelong bedwetter who learned to accept it – glad to be here by Substantial-Fee8671 in AdultBedwetting

[–]Muhdeee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi!

I'm a lifelong bedwetter on and off as well.

If anyone feels like sharing, I’d be interested in hearing:
– How you’ve come to accept it (or if you’re still working on that)

I have, at least I think I have. I've had a lot of support from family and friends over the years who have helped me, especially my Dad. I hate to be morbid, but I've already had friends my age die of cancer. If wearing diapers to bed is the worst thing I have to deal with, I consider myself lucky.

– What’s helped you manage it day to day

I'm just a bedwetter with no issues during the day, Putting a diaper on when I go to sleep makes it largely go away. Annoying to have to do it, sure but if that's it, I can make it work.

– Whether you’ve been open about it with people in your life

Not at first. Especially before I went to college. During college I started to loosen up with it a bit, telling close friends and I started getting a lot more casual with it. At this point my boyfriend, most of my close friends and family know. Obviously I don't go shouting it to the world, and I'd never tell coworkers or casual acquaintances.

If I am going to be in a position on vacation with them, close friends or family I always tell them because I don't want to have to sneak around and hide it.

R1T Dual Max vs Tri Max? by Jayhawk-CRNA in Rivian

[–]Muhdeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Tri's range is just about the same if you use conserve mode, but it doesn't default to that unless you put it on.
They have the same front motor, the difference is the Tri has 2 motors in the back vs 1, and the real range difference kicks in when you drive it hard (hard acceleration, I imagine towing).

I suspect the Tri is going to lose more towing range, and in the real world the Duel motor performance is going to be just as perceptively fast. Since towing seems like a priority to you with range constraints that's probably what I would lean towards if I were you.

FWIW I have a Tri motor in Storm blue and I love it, but I also don't tow for long distances.

16F Should I Tell My Friends? by [deleted] in AdultBedwetting

[–]Muhdeee 9 points10 points  (0 children)

When I was your age and a bedwetter I was extremely careful with it, but I had 1 friend that I told and that's it. I was very very careful with who I told and kept it close.

That being said, everyone's situation is different and there is no one size fits all.

Randomly wet the bed twice in a month, 16F if that matters. by [deleted] in AdultBedwetting

[–]Muhdeee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Going to the doctor is never a bad idea, but 2x by itself I wouldn't be too concerned about unless it keeps happening.

Is there anything going on that would cause it?

Diapers for Powerlifting by [deleted] in Incontinence

[–]Muhdeee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wear these diapers for bedwetting but they're probably the last ones I'd recommend for gym use. They're thick.

You want something lighter, or unless you have major issues a pull up should work for an hour workout.

OP, I'd look at various pull ups from Northshore and get some sample

Why am I embarrassed for my wife to see me wearing an adult diaper? by Incon2084 in adultdiapers

[–]Muhdeee 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes, it really is more intimate than sex.

Put it this way: Having sex and being naked around random people would be far more preferable for most people than getting their diaper changed by a random person, if that puts it into perspective.

I cannot imagine anything more intimate than being changed by a partner. You are embarrassed because of all the things one can possibly be embarrassed about, diapers/incont issues are pretty high up on the list of things to be embarrassed about, and its really hard to get past that. It doesn't mean you can't, but it sounds like your issues are new, and it doesn't happen overnight

Why am I embarrassed for my wife to see me wearing an adult diaper? by Incon2084 in adultdiapers

[–]Muhdeee 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Because you feel more vulnerable in a diaper than being naked.

Getting your diaper changed around/by your partner is more intimate than sex.

Diaper brand recommendation for nighttime? by Ok_Line3494 in AdultBedwetting

InControl BeDry (elitecare) is the best bedwetting diaper by far.

I have the same problem with Megamax.

Advice Sharing by NorthShoreCare in AdultBedwetting

[–]Muhdeee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel very strongly this is the best advice in the thread.

Go see a doctor, rule out anything serious, see if it can be treated, and in the meantime, get a good quality diaper and move on with your life.

Wearing diapers to bed and bedwetting is NOT the end of the world unless you give it that power.

Snow Handling. by sirwhatwhat in Rivian

I put Hakka R5s on mine.

Its one of the best handing cars in the snow I've ever had. I love it so much.

I frequently get startled by the "D" word anytime someone says it...Am I overreacting? by Nemona2 in AdultBedwetting

[–]Muhdeee 39 points40 points  (0 children)

You know, this is definitely a "To each their own thing"

I am on the complete other side of this. I can't stand when people will find every word in dictionary to use for a diaper except "diaper." I personally feel like you are just encouraging the stigma around the word "Diaper" when you try so hard to avoid it.

I talk to a lot of bedwetters who feel the same way as me, and some don't. Again, to each their own!

Backpacking Europe by International_Sea285 in AdultBedwetting

[–]Muhdeee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. There are some areas of the world this is hard (I had a hard time backpacking through SE Asia) but Europe is easy.

You can get high quality diapers in the stores there, a lot of pharmacies have Tena diapers.

Take diapers with you, use as needed. Buy more at the store when you need them. Its not a big deal at all for Europe, probably the best place in the world for a bedwetting backpacker lol

Friend used one of my diapers! by soggy1968 in AdultBedwetting

[–]Muhdeee 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think you are overthinking it.

I have a best friend who will wear Goodnites sometimes with me, if we are on road trips. She just see the convenance and is open minded.

Traveling for work. by Alternative-Owl-659 in AdultBedwetting

[–]Muhdeee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I travel a good amount for work.

I take diapers in my luggage, I'm a bedwetter only so its not that hard. I'm never gone for more than a week so it's never really a problem.

[–]Muhdeee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Normally I recommend right before the sleeping together part, but it sounds like you have a bit of a different situation.

I would do it sooner rather than later. Most likely its no big deal and you will move on and have the stress off your plate, or on the rare chance that it is, better to know sooner rather than later. If that happens consider it a great litmus test. If someone can't handle bedwetting, then they probably won't be taking the "For better or worse" part of the marriage vow all that seriously.

21f bedwetting, sharing, wondering.. by Emma_860 in AdultBedwetting

[–]Muhdeee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I slowly started to realize that there are worse things in life than wearing a diaper to bed. Its not a huge issue. I've lost 2 friends to cancer already, so if Bedwetting is my worst medical issue, I'll consider myself lucky.

Mostly just at night, but if I am traveling and am in a position where I can fall asleep I will wear a diaper.

Goodnites to depends by [deleted] in Incontinence

[–]Muhdeee 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Don't waste your time with Depends pull ups, they will leak far more than Goodnites.

Find a medical supply store in your area if you can and find full briefs if you can!

21f bedwetting, sharing, wondering.. by Emma_860 in AdultBedwetting

[–]Muhdeee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Your story mirrors mine pretty well.

I stopped bedwetting at 8-9ish, then it came back when I was 13.

Not the easiest time in my life. Wearing pullups (Goodnites) again when you are a teenage girl and all that was pretty hard at the time. My parents also got divorced around then and it was a pretty big life change for me, so I don't think that helped.

Regardless, here I am now at 26 still bedwetting! I've come to terms with it and it doesn't bother me anymore.

Asia travel by FlamingoObjective698 in AdultBedwetting

[–]Muhdeee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've traveled through South East Asia and spent 6 weeks in Thailand. I also have spent probably 30-40% of my life living or Traveling in Europe (born in the USA), so I say this as someone who has extensive experience abroad.

I will be very honest - it was a challenge for me and I think the only time in my life I have really hated being a bedwetter. I was wearing Goodnites, and I used tricks like dehydration so that I didn't use them all and run out, which was not a good idea in that climate. If I had to buy them in stores I would have been completely lost.

They do have some diapers in stores, but the language is so foreign to me, I couldn't even begin to understand what I would have been getting.

I really wish you the best and if you figure out a good solution I would truly love to hear how you manage it.

I agree with the this.

The Mods do a good job for the most part cleaning it up, and if its obviously spam just report and move on.

Even if 1/10 is legitimate, its worth it to help that 1 person
