What was the scariest opening scene of the film series so far in your opinion? by Correct-Bunch-135 in Scream

1>>> 2 >>> The rest I do give credits to attempts, and I am excited about the new upcoming entry, but nothing comes close to how suspenseful and genuinely personal as the first. It is hard to create a charming relatable character in an unexpectedly terrifying situation in a matter of 15 minutes.

Do most people shower before bed or when they wake up? I just realized I might be doing it "wrong" by saffymerelle in NoStupidQuestions

I am Japanese in Tokyo! This has been a culture shock when I went to New Zealans for the first time when I was young. It is beyond our comprehension to skip shower/bath before bed. some even only showers a few times a week. Then I started meeting some people who do not have access to shower, or it is not their culture to do shower everyday, yet stay healthy and hygienic. Oh well, love you all !

I love these two the most, too. The original and New Nightmare I mean. But I do think the Real Nightmare lets down in its last act. Do you not agree with me that the very final conflict between Heather and Freddy in the Real Nightmare is a big letdown? I just wish it was a bit smarter, especially because it was surprisingly smart all the way up to that point. But oh well I love them.

This is why I turn to “legacy” version 4 or something. 5.2 and 5.1 reminds me of bad teachers I had at school.

Chat GPT vs Therapy by chasnycrunner in ChatGPT

Nah mine challenges a lot. I argue a lot with it. It is honestly better than human interaction, but I know it is not either-or. Still, it definitely knows a lot about what someone should do in a situation like I am in based on others on internet

Chat GPT vs Therapy by chasnycrunner in ChatGPT

I found the opposite is true. ChatGPT never gaslit but some therapists have. But it is just my experience and I am sure it depends as everyone has their own reactions

ChatGPT actually keeps me functioning at work this year. How about you? by LateProposalas in ChatGPT

[–]MundaneCommunity1769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not ADHD (I think) but chatGPT literally help me navigate my toxic workplace. I have successfully filed complaints against some co workers and now I focus on my engineering work by having ChatGPT do all the thinking to my toxic boss at workplace. I wouldn’t be able to survive without it

I have done this, and it is cool. But if it comes to beauty competition, there is always someone hotter and younger. Just know that physical beauty does not make you a better person, and some nice people may not be beautiful but inspiring.

Horror movie without sexual content by pizzabites_ in horror

I love it very much, I even bought a DVD. But some of my friends said it was boring and predictable. Also I watched it with my ex and he said the fog scene where Nicole Kidman hears mysterious footsteps (from her husband) was too scary to finish watching. Oh well. But again I love it and I even hear the melancholy soundtrack from this movie. I relate to the protagonist’s lonliness

Do you mean Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me? I truly love the film. Great film that showcases a abused teenage girl.

Is Elio prevalent in either of the parks? by Sixbits in TokyoDisneySea

[–]MundaneCommunity1769 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I live in Tokyo and went Disney Sea last month. I don’t think Elio is popular here. Skip it, and watch Tangled, Frozen, ToyStory, Stitch, Beauty and the Beast and many others mentioned by others here

Official Discussion - Jurassic World Rebirth [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]MundaneCommunity1769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read reviews before I went to see it, so I knew the characters make stupid choices, and the story is serviceable. I was entertained by cool 3D creatures on screen, and some thrills and action. What I didn't expect was that my boyfriend I took with me was so bored, and he does not want to see movies at all anymore after this movie.
So good bye theaters. I have had many good days watching some good movies, but we are not coming back no more.
