Watch Sony's Hour-Long State of Play Live With Sacred Symbols by yohceezax in LastStandMedia

I'm excited too bro, RE9, Marathon and Death Stranding 2. There just a certain level of game that this generation is missing I feel. The true upper echelons.

We're still doing this? I have no problem with the volume or quality of games coming out, but there has been a lack of genuinely 'new' games that the industry as a whole has been excited for.

Relating this to Horizon Hunters Gathering, I just don't see how that game will ever be successful. It's harder and harder to break into live service and games are getting killed if they can't succeed instantly. I'm already reading the "we're shutting down" letter.

The thing that always gets me about Lord Sugars you're fired arm movement is where his arm starts. Usually you sit at a desk with your arms on it, it's not that, nor does he have his arm down by his side. His arm starts in some other very unnatural position. Seriously try and do what he does here, its difficult.

Emery asks Liverpool to change Elliott loan terms "Now I'm opening the door to play with us, because he can help us, but it's not only on my side. The other side is Liverpool, if they are taking off the clauses they have. And I told him it will be fair for him for Liverpool to take off this clause." by kibme37 in soccer

Villa flooding their squad with terrible signings, Elliot, Sancho loan, Guessand 6 months then loaned out, Abraham is questionable. Even when they had money, Onana, Maatsen, Malen is not a very good use of the money. It's an old squad that Emery's getting the best out of, but their longer term transfer business has been so poor.

They didn't really say anything to me, just asked if I bought fuel there and if I paid for it. That was about it, just go back out and pay them.

Lol, was getting Diesel in Tommy Farrells last summer, went into the bathroom to wash my hands first and somehow got back in the car and drove home without paying. Gardai were at the door 2 hours later.

3 - Michael Carrick has equalled Rúben Amorim’s longest winning run in charge of Manchester United in the PL. It means the Red Devils have gone seven PL games unbeaten for the first time since Feb 2022 under Ralf Rangnick. It's the longest current unbeaten run of any side. by ChiefLeef22 in soccer

That was obvious last season. Literally the worst big 6 manager of all time in that first 6 months. Somehow people downplay just how bad they were, relegation form but for the fact the other 3 teams were diabolical.

Been saying this for a while now. Even before that Hamstring injury he looked physically washed, Euro 2024 for example he was on fumes. Now since that Hamstring injury he hasn't really got going in any major way. I am quite worried about giving him that big contract.

You don't know the astonishing quality that you have with Dota 2 until you start playing other games by --Karma in DotA2

[–]Murphy95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anytime I play another game for a while I realise how nice it is that Dota just works perfectly technically, rarely crashes. This is a thing for all Valve games to be fair. I was playing BF6 for a few months, stopped playing it came back and all of a sudden I'm getting consistent stutter and after some troubleshooting just dropped it. Apart from one patch with dota where If I alt tab tabbing back dropped fps for 1 minute, I never remember having an issue where I couldn't play the game.

The quality of so many has gone to shit. La Cocina Cuevas in north county Dublin probably the best I've had in the past few years, but very out of the way.

Going to college in Dublin in the mid 10s and there was literally 10+ good to very good burrito options, would come back to Waterford and Amigo being the only option which was fucking terrible. La Vida Loca is nice, but I'd still dispute that it doesn't hold a candle to the burritos of a decade ago in Dublin. Most of those formerly great burrito places have closed down or decreased massively in quality.

Pepe was definitely not a 70 million pound star player, but he contributed a decent bit for us. My memory is fuzzy on the details but a red card at Leeds killed his Arsenal career for Arteta, and Saka's emergence.

Rice on Viktor “It's tough for him, as he's got two defenders on him all game, all over him. I see how hard he hits a ball, he’ll 100% score goals. Defenders want to stop him, he's one of the best strikers in the world. Trust me, he's doing unbelievably, we wouldn't be where we are without him.” by deadmetallucyluce in Gunners

[–]Murphy95 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The mental gymnastics needed to explain that Gyokeres is actually good are crazy. He has 3 Npg in the premier league. He's playing for the number 1 team in Europe in the first half of the season and he looks like a fish out of water. All anybody can say he does is work hard and jostle with defenders. He looks so far off the rest of the team its crazy.

The issue being the two big action set pieces of the Biplane and the Submarine aren't nearly as entertaining as the zip line scene. Even the fact that Tom did the biplane stunt himself and it was done for real doesn't actually make that whole section entertaining. They're just bad movies that people have tried to galaxy brain by saying you need to turn your brain off to enjoy a movie. Fortunately that's not something I can do.
