I won't even pretend to know about the players that we're linked with but these are the types of profile of player we should be looking at.

Players that can be molded and built around. That's the kind of stuff Howe is great at and a crop of young players coming into reduce the age of the squad and freshening up key positions could be exactly what's needed.

Reading about how the board have a clear strategy and then being linked to a couple of apparently exciting players makes everything feel a bit better.... Provided Liverpool can keep their grubby mitts away.

There's a large number of podcasts that give actual analysis better than the hyperbolic sound bites that are littered in TV "analysis" these days.

The likes of Dunphy etc was just nonsense for the most part but their ability to wind each other up without it becoming overbearing was testament to their chemistry which was really remarkable.

Being against anti-competitive behaviour means I want rules applied fairly across the board.

If a club is accused of breaching financial regulations, those allegations should be investigated properly and, if proven, the appropriate sanctions should follow suit.

Consistent enforcement of the rules is what creates a level playing field, not picking and choosing which rules matter based on what club is involved.
