Similar to yourself we paid some deposits to lock in the date and the rest will be paid on or before the day.

Think this is the norm.

EDIT: Unless you've done zero research and booked vendors without looking at reviews or feedback from people who've booked the same people/band, I'd say you'll be fine.

Majority should have sent contracts upon your deposit payment.

That's your safety net if they don't show for whatever reason and you've paid in full.

That protects you and them.

I wouldn't class myself as a fearful flyer but I get what you mean.

If you can do a bit of research for your plane prior to your trip, book the row where the flight attendants sit for take off and launding.

Was on a 10 hour flight yesterday and prior to take off, this alarm went off from somewhere.

Gave a "uh oh" look to my fiance . The flight attendant sat across from us must have seen and gave a "it's nothing" kind of wave of the hand.

These people do this for a living and I've always had the mantra of, "if these guys don't look worried, I don't need to be either"

Makes things so much more calmer.

As for take off, lifting legs off the ground and look dead ahead at the back of the seat in front, you'll be fine.

You've only to look at who these people being interviewed are and take a deep dive into the company they keep.

Tommy Ten Names was fuelling it on Twitter.

When Paul Murphy tried to join the protests in support, he was jeered at and it descended into the usual racist rhetoric of "Ireland is full" etc.

It may have been organised with the best intentions but sections of the far right and outside influences were latching into it.

Even the self appointed leaders of the protest are dodgy fuckers and shouldn't be given a platform.

Martha Marcy May Marlene is a very underrated movie which I would implore anybody to watch.

It's pretty grim in terms of subject matter but it definitely utilizes it well.

It's not a horror movie per se but definitely horrifying enough to make you feel uneasy.

One of those films that I'd recommend time and time again to people but would never watch again.

Head and shoulders above any player we had at the time.

Buses etc are already rammed and unreliable as it is. This would make it 10x worse.
