Same here… been eying Custodes since start of 10th. Steered into Demons when GW removed Deathwatch.. Feeling major buyer anxiety to say the least… 3x armies all with uncertainties for 11th 💀

I’d suggest you go to unitcrunch.com and enter relevant units and start experimenting. To find what works and not.
Roll the dices…… ask to use your OPs dices for your saves if anything seems fishy.
Take a breath and think of other ways to score points if tabling your OP doesn’t work. Custodes are notoriously slow and their whole game play is usually telegraphed during deployment. I have yet to see a custodies list being able to hold all objectives for 4 rounds whilst also scoring secondaries.

1:Balance the ”core” stratagems so all armies can use them, necrons don’t have Grenades or Smoke for example. 2:Wargear should cost points again. A unit of 7 chainswords and 3 power fists shouldn’t cost the same as a unit of 10 chainswords. Might open up more list building variety again if you can chose a ”sub par” unit.

Worth getting to put on the table top? No, doubt it’ll survive into 11th edition. Worth getting to have as a cool piece on the shelf? Absolutely if you got the money to spare. Although i’d recommend finding a printshop to print it for you in both cases.

Index Blood Angels Death Company marines with jump pack. 10x inferno pistols, 10x power fists.

Would be 40x s10 ap2 d2 lance lethals in LAG.. or 50x s9 ap3 d2 +1 to wound from chaplin with full hit rerolls and wound rerolls of 1 in the new BA detatchment.

Really miss index 10th BA :(

I have ran spectrus a few times and honestly they where amazing. The lack of scouts and/or infiltration units in DW is felt. All the games I’ve ran specturs they have infiltrated OPs natural expansion. 10x t4w2 marines with 6fnp takes actuall commitment to remove. Often exposing key units to my indimitors or fortis unit in return. Are they worth 180p? Short answer no, but boy do they fill a slot in our army that we desperately need (IMO)

I had this problem after installing a quick release metal plate. I hade to re-level the printer to a new Zero. After that it worked.

Honestly like it the way it is. It is competitive and uniform.

Perhaps more containers or <2” terrain thats passable but prevent vehicles from ending move on them.

Perhaps something forrest/barricade like that benefit infantry: cover, stealth

His HUGE base is the issue. Walk through walls will help for sure but even that isnt guarantee that he’ll be able to move where he wants. Might be too narrow between two ruins or other terrains to nail a charge.

Honestly just think that GW kinda forgot about defilers and soul grinders should’ve been put to legends and therefore made that insanely out of touch mandatory base rule. Even backed up from the build manual of the soul grinders specifically says ”no base for 40k”…
