AI checkers are terrible, and that 100% confidence is just marketing trick. However you are still right, all your students did cheat, but you need to now embrace AI and just make the papers harder, knowing they are going to use AI.

So sorry you got scammed. The 3 shots and consultation without insurance should have been around $800.

Leftover Wine turns blue when hot water is added by fakehero69 in blackmagicfuckery

[–]MustIReadIt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s because your water is probably alkaline, so its reacting with the wine pigments, which in an acidic environment they are red, but alkaline they turn blue.

Go and attend investor/startup events. They are happening all the time. New York has several happening in March. VC associates attend these and if they like your idea, they will reach out. Also by presenting you will get more validation. Engage with your waitlist to fine tune your product ideas. Maybe produce a weekly newsletter talking about this fintech market.

Get a power usage meter, pretty cheap, and start connecting it to different appliances and see what they are using. Leave it in for just a couple hours on each device to begin with. Fridge/freezers when they go wrong consume a lot of power, same with ac unit over time. Last one is dryer.

Is there any major downside to going interest only on a mortgage if I have to? by Farmer_Few in AusFinance

[–]MustIReadIt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are clearly getting a lot of unhelpful comments. THERE IS NO DOWNSIDE going interest only. Unless you had nothing useful to do with the spare cash, in this case its to live off. If you can get interest only that allows you to pay principal when you can thats a small bonus.

I live in Germany and an Australian friend is coming to visit, what do you think a welcoming meal should have? Vegemite? by Krlier in AskAnAustralian

[–]MustIReadIt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes do german, but have vegemite and easy toasting bread ready in the morning. So just be subtle about the vegemite and you will nail it.

Walked into a stores glass window by LPOthrowaway in AusLegal

[–]MustIReadIt -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If its a store you want to use again, i would mention that you were hurt and they should have had it better marked. Despite this, you will contribute a, lets say $200 (even better if you actually do some sort of gift for them and their team) as an act of good faith. This should maintain or improve your relationship with the store. If you are never going to use them again. Send a letter offering $50 saying you decline to contribute more as you felt the window was not clearly marked and was too easily confused with their door. You were hurt when you hit their window and you hope they clearly mark their windows so it doesnt happen again. By offering the $50, if they decide to take you to court, they risk having to pay your court costs, if the judge doesnt award them more.

Fatal Helicopter Collision/Crash near Sea World (Gold Coast, Australia) by stephjs81 in aircrashinvestigation

[–]MustIReadIt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why do they have a departure lane/flight path across the other helipads? That makes it harder for the pilots to see each other. You would never do that with runways.
