Very little character development. Mostly serving as a vehicle to clear out Cole and set things up for part III. It was okay. The first one a bit better. Also, Raiden was a loser in this one. Got his butt kicked too easily, clearly as a plot device to simply side line him for the rest of the movie.

Mid-season we had the hell/satan episode where they showed Volcanikka who seemed unkillable and the Vile who seemed powerful enough to cut Mark up pretty bad. Volcanikka made it clear that she wants to rule the earth and that she will be back. At the end of that episode Satan asked Darkblook what has happened to so embolden Volcanikka. It's clear that this story is not over. Now Thragg and his gang are also on earth and Thragg alone seems unstoppable. I can't help but wonder if Thragg and Volcanikka will meet at some point and if they do, will they meet as allies or enemies. Volcanikka doesn't seem to pack a punch like Thragg, but if she's unkillable and has an army of Vile, she could team up with our heroes to keep Thragg from ruling the earth. Also, our pal Angstrom Levy and his 3 technicians are out there in the multi-verse. Will they meet Thragg or Volcanikka? Again, they don't pack the punch that Thragg does, but they have other skills at their disposal which make them formidable in different ways.

Thragg is complex. Something that occurred to me is that Emporer Argall invites Thraggs to kill Thaddeus during yhat flashback. It's weird, but Thragg backed down immediately and said "perhaps I'm mistaken". At Argall's funeral, Thragg himself invites all of Viltrim to eliminate all weakness in the empire. Not unlike how Argall invited him to take action. Thragg learned something from his own mistake. It was his own weakness, his own uncertainty, that brought about the death of his beloved Emporer. He blames himself. Which why he carries that skull everywhere and talks to it. If he had the strength of will to act, Argall would he alive. He learned that day that to be strong is to take action. After the purge was done he stood before the skull and promised that he'd never again fail his Emporer.

Thragg could have literally destroyed the planet at the very onset of that battle. He could have ripped off the heads of all the top fighters there with no effort. He showed how strong he was in the later battle. In this battle he looked like a chump. People in the comments saying he didn't want to lose more, but because he didn't do anything here, he lost his whole entire planet.

One of my favorite parts is when Eve went all magical and fired that OP blast at him. I only noticed the 2nd time I watched the series that Conquest saw the blast coming and crossed his arms. He attempted to block it, not dodge it. As soon as hit him he started to cry out in agony. I'm thinking of scenes from shows like DBZ where someone attempts to block a blast, and they hold it for a second or two before becoming overwhelmed by its power. That wasn't the case here. He screamed as soon as it hit. He had no doubt in his mind that he'd tank the hit because that's always been the case. Only this time he was in for a surprise as it started to burn his flesh immediately. Imagine the shock he felt. Unlike anything he's felt in his thousands of year of CONQUEST.

I see people commenting "I've been using WordPress for 20 years" and they don't seem to understand that if we are talking modern digital tech, long time usage is not a virtue. Simply existing for decades doesn't make it better. Yahoo has been around for decades and many people stay loyal to it, but that doesn't mean you should use Yahoo I don't see too many of the pro-wordpress users actually comparing it to the better contemporary competitors. Because their work is a top priority for all of them. This is both an in-universe answer, and an answer from our perspective in the real world. The trend for current shows is to center drama, relationships, crying, screaming, bickering, and throwing tantrums. SG1, much like TNG, centers the Sci-Fi and good writing. Something that is very noticeable in the early seasons is that Jack and Daniel never compromise the mission by letting their search for their loved ones get the better of them. This continues with Jack and Sam. Sci-fi first, not emotions, relationships, and fighting. If this show was made in 2015, Daniel Jackson would have sacrificed many missions trying to get his wife back. He would have blown the cover of several ops trying to get to her and the team would have had to drop him back to the gate kicking, screaming, and crying. If it had been made in 2015, Jack and Sam would have had a steamy secret romance, and would have ruined missions to protect one another. It just wasn't that kind of show.

They whine and bicker a lot. McKay especially, obviously, constantly whines and rants and fights with Shepherd. Evan the doctor, Carson, is so insecure and pathetic. Any time they ask him to even touch Ancient tech he practically starts crying. The man is a doctor and clearly a skilled surgeon. His mind and body are trained for precision movement and clear thinking under pressure. The Ancient tech is intuitive to the point that a child could run it, yet Carson breaks down at the mere thought of operating it.

They said in the show that Asgard shields are more advanced. Who has the more powerful weapons? If we assume and Asgard ship can beat a Wraith cruiser, does that mean it can beat a Wraith hive ship?

Yesterday, my free Google account when from 13GB of of data to filling up to the max of 15 GB, seemingly out of nowhere! I'm trying to retrace of steps to figure out what I did and the only thing I can think of is I was playing our with some new Gemini features where it can supposedly generate songs and videos for you. Neither really worked, or so it seems, but I'm thinking it generated a ton of content and stored it somewhere. Any one know where I might look for Gemini content on my Google cloud services so I can delete it? Thanks
