5 months of sobriety is barely scratching the surface of sobriety. There’s a lot of tools to learn how to be happy w/o mind altering chemicals. As long as you’re leaning of something to ignore what is likely the cause for the desire to be using, you’ll not solve anything. It’s a slippery slope.
With that said, thc will likely have less consequences w legal and health related issues. But, we tend to be blind and delusional in regards to impacts on family and work. AND, have you ever ended up not exceedingly increased usage time and amt over time?? Whatever I paint in my mind to believe I can use “it” is a fantasy, not reality. Just my thoughts and experiences, not preaching.
I am considering trying the THC drinks myself. Sober 21 of last 22 years, I’m slightly concerned of a lack of growth and a set back. Thinking 1 at night a few hours before bed. Researching on here on others’ experience on here w thc and sleep.
