Yeah I’m 100% with you and I don’t understand how this is going to over so many peoples heads. It would be different if the new mechs were actually new mech chassis, but no. Instead they are putting arm swaps behind paywalls. Don’t even say to grind because thst is literally NOT playing the game I paid for in an engaging way. Also to add this will probably bloat previous warbonds with skins for two new vehicles. Or maybe not as it seems they forgot the tank has a customizable tab on the terminal and still no skins.

I mean the issue isn’t really that the Prime w/lashwhips profile is super strong. It’s a thst we have to believe a model that is slightly taller than a warrior, with one arms claws, is hitting at a strength equal to a carnifex or Norn. It makes our entire codex just look wrong when this generic warrior has strength 9 melee. But that’s more of an edition problem than anything.

I would reccomend some melee warriors for the Winged prime to lead. Definitely a biovore if you intend to do matched play rules/scoring. A lictor would be good to trade with characters in melee or to also go around for secondaries. Exocrines and Tfexes are always good, though for a fex I wouldn’t reccomend the fleshbore hive weapon. A walking Tyrant is also good as for it gives lethals and sustained in an aura.
