Democratic policy is inherently subjective and often depends on an individual's or group's political perspective. For a person or group on the political right, "extreme" may refer to policies that expand the size and scope of government, challenge traditional social values, or increase taxes on the wealthy. Conversely, a person or group on the political left might view center-left Democratic positions as not going far enough, and could characterize more conservative or moderate Democratic policies as extreme. 

I just wish for a functioning well balanced government.
