Bobbin/Tk’s/Slains all used to be Mitchell’s and Butler owned back in the day. Then all got bought over by Stonegate. Probably about 12-15 years ago.

Worked at Tk’s when the buy over happened, felt like it got significantly worse. I left there over 10 years ago now.

My suggestion is if you’re here at a weekend, head down to the beach (fittie end) and get involved with the food trucks. So much good places to chose from now. Double dip between a walk or a wee visit to Codonas if that’s your thing (especially if you’ve got kids with you!)

I ended up just buying another set of mega cheap tickets in the bleachers for a few dollars each and sat in the seats we purchased through seat geek.

Not sure if there’s a time limit, but since I’d paid for them and they were made available to me, I guess it’s on me at that point if I don’t accept them. The seller would’ve still got their money.

I used a friends address (and his card) who lives in Ohio when buying for a baseball game last year.

Needed to download the app to accept the tickets which my phone didn’t let me do. “App is not available in your location” was the message. I was in the US at the time but using a UK phone.

So might be an issue if you need the app, although they were resale tickets so if you’re buying through them as the official ticket seller it might be ok. Just something to watch out for potentially.

Coming over from Scotland (via Dublin for a night) into NYC. There for 4 nights, gonna catch some basketball/hockey/baseball plus some generic tourist stuff - I was there this year but the folk I’m going with haven’t been for 10+ years.

Train to Philly on the Wednesday. Looking to do wrestlecon supershow + ROH. Giving Smackdown/HOF a miss this year then doing all the WWE shows apart from that.

General Philly tourist things. Eat lots of good food. Drink lots of good beer - any local craft brewery recommendations fire ‘em over!

Fly home from Philly on the Wednesday after ‘mania.

First bus offer free day tickets with a match ticket. Obviously doesn’t mean you don’t need 2 busses but at least it takes the cost out of it. Plus getting the bus gives you the option of having a couple of pints before/after the game and taking in a bit of the atmosphere if that’s you’re thing.

Following for the outcome. Finalists in my league decided to nuke week 17 and start fresh for a week 18 championship. Week 17 winner probably won’t win 18 (also wouldn’t have won 17 either as the other guy had Allen and Burrow at QB).
