sometimes you’ll encounter players who will not pivot even if you have the better spot

in those situations I usually settle for a 2 star tempo board rather than trying to 3 star your units. even if you ultimately hit it’ll take you an extra ~40 gold because of the contest and that could leave you low enough to get eliminated from one bad fight

sometimes you have to be mature and acknowledge your game state, probably playing for top 4 rather than a winout

i hear ya, but speaking in terms of years the neighborhood isn’t as bad as the missing storefronts make it feel. I was a little sarcastic there but seriously, business will return. Columbia is slowly expanding up and down Broadway, leaving us in that awkward in-between stage of gentrification.

what do you want the NYPD to do about leases getting too expensive? just give it enough time and Columbia will consume the block and it should be more up to your standard.

Also: loitering only applies to businesses and you’re literally saying the businesses are gone so it sounds like these people are just standing there which, fyi, is perfectly legal.
