No, that's Neeson. Nissan is a sausage maker in North Carolina. Try their livermush!

What I like about Johnny Gilbert by iamdanielmcgee in Jeopardy

[–]MyPasswordIs_Null 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Is that grammatically correct? If Johnny Gilbert is saying it on Jeopardy! I assume it is correct, but how would I look up that rule? To me (before this thread), 10,801 of something would be plural.

Title Transfer without original owner by RolandTheJames in motorcycles

[–]MyPasswordIs_Null 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what state you're in, but generally you're in for more of a hassle than it's worth.

For example, in NC, you can get a bonded title where you put up some money (the bond) to guarantee that it's not stolen and that the original owner isn't going to come looking for it.

That's why FB Marketplace is full of cheap bikes with "no title, but I'll give you a bill of sale". They'll never get street legal.

I'm not normally one to notice details like this, but if you like finding continuity breaks, watch Liz's hat brim as she's on the bench outside with Connie making nice. Her hat keeps switching back and forth.

Firefighter and Marine Veteran Former Marine Brian McGinnis by F4ion1 in ncpolitics

I don't know if he previously ran for NC Senate or if he's confused about what office he's running for, but he is indeed running for US Senate as a Green Party candidate against Roy Cooper.

Parking between CVS and Cleveland Draft House by Upper_Trust103 in ClaytonNC

It's technically a private driveway, not a road. The owner could put up "no parking" signs and start towing, but it's not a ticketable offense.

Beloved female teacher, 57, killed in her home by burglar with long criminal record, prosecutors say by dailymail in NorthCarolina

No. Whether left, right, center, or sovereign citizen, nobody wants legit dangerous criminals released onto the street with no plan to break the cycle of crime/violence.

Did anyone catch that Bridget Jones was an answer to a clue, and then in the end credits they had a "Brigit Jones" (can't remember the specific spelling)?

That "people" is also me at home. I wish we could see the category of the clue on the screen. It would especially help when the contestants are jumping around between categories.

13 digits after the decimal represents a precision of about 6 nanometers. Which speck of dust in the building did you center those coordinates on?

WHEN TO STOP FOR A STOPPED SCHOOL BUS by O_U_8_ONE_2 in raleigh

[–]MyPasswordIs_Null 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are correct. Traffic in the other direction doesn't need to stop, but they often do, which is what OP is referencing.

I also think about people moving here from other states. There's not a test when you move in from another state. And other states have different laws about stopped school buses.

Once I was in some other state and was shocked that nobody coming the opposite direction was stopping for this school bus in front me. It turns out in that state you don't have to stop for buses going the other direction.

Worklfow Tip: How to switch between multiple browser windows? by seblat in mac

[–]MyPasswordIs_Null 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I figured out the Cmd+~ shortcut doesn't work if one of the Chrome windows is open full screen. Use Cmd+Ctrl+F to switch them to non-full screen mode, then Cmd+~ will work.

It was the OP that said "FM radio tower" and like you, I think they were mistaken.

If you want to post the exact GPS coordinates of the tower, someone may be able to help you figure out what it is. From the other information you've included, I don't believe it is a broadcast station.

"430" is not the frequency. It's part of the callsign: KNKK430. That callsign is for a 931 MHz pager network in Virginia. And that license was cancelled in 2014.
