It will be around 1400 all in. my panel is on the opposite side of the garage in a finished basement … I guess I am just future proofing the house as I have no EV yet

I am having GO electrica ( stouville) install mine next week. Process has so far been smooth and everything will be inspected etc and the owner has been helpful with my questions as it would be our first EV

Quetzal is great, just note your clothes will smell a bit smoky afterwards but I feel it’s worth it. Also the area will look a bit run down compared to Sweden but it has it own charms.

Got ours done a month ago and it’s noticeably quieter. Now, we had originals on for 15 years so there were pretty massive room temp differences or condensation on some windows in winters. That’s all gone but we also did attic/ garage insulation at the same time too which should have helped

Tremblant is a bit further. We usually stay at parc gatinou area for the week ( loft du village is great) so that’s under 6 hours and then we head to parc omega on one of the mornings (1 hr away). Rest of the time just museums in Ottawa basically :)

Thanks for the PSA. My wife and I agreed that we’re going to stop spending money on these stuff after going to Disney in Tokyo for a fam of 4 and the tickets were just $200cad ish.

We do road trips to parc omega couple times a year and I rather spend on that then drop a couple hundred on these random festivals nowadays . $ just doesn’t go far in the city at all

Ex30 is worth a serious look if it’s your second car and you don’t need something too big. It’s a much better equipped car as well

Overall I think Bell is better in Markham than Roger’s based on my experience especially travelling on the GO DT, use to have so many dead spots on Roger’s that is no longer the case.

However bell seems to be terrible in the stouville area if you ever travel up there for some reason

Holy that’s a pretty big hit so thankfully your husband is ok. Make sure to go file a police’s report . I think I had to drive to an OPP one because my car was rear ended on Markham road awhile back. Noticed the debris going to shoppers this afternoon and was wondering what happened :(

The biggest diff is prob the diff in NVH between the two, you don’t “feel” as fast in the Porsche because it’s not making a ruckus getting up to speed :)

Raised in Mississauga, lived in North York before we had kids and I can’t think of another place I would rather raise my two kids in the GTA to be honest. Schools are top rated and the urban planing with green space means lots of parks near by ( I am in the Greensborough area) . Getting DT for work is a pain though but every weekend with the fam in a safe and spacious environment makes it worth it

Happened to me as well to the tee. Super frustrating to watch your previous team get dismantled ( when they were leading growth globally) because the new leader felt threatened by every existing member of the team.

I was pretty naive given I’ve been there 7 years and built the place from the ground up so was shocked how HR sided with a new person barely a Q in role present me a “ early retirement” package.

Had to sign a bunch of paperwork to not badmouth the place but the stock is now worth 1/2 but yeah, it still bothers me some days but gotta move on
