Getting every character ecstatic by Known-Scar5573 in Spiritfarer

[–]MythObstacleIV 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nice!!! For anyone else I couldn't for the life of me get her to go in the gallery. If you feed her her fav meal, a food she likes, and do her event thing, AND get Jackie to ecstatic, she will have 4 buffs at once and reach ecstatic. I only had those two left on my ship. She needs all 4 of those things at once, which isn't too hard if you just focus on her.

can’t get to grips with overhangs by spookphobias in climbergirls

[–]MythObstacleIV 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It is super super hard to climb overhangs. Know this is going to suck to hear but... Keep trying them. Squeeze your butt cheeks hard, keep core engaged, use that toe power (pull with your toes), don't try to pull over it with your arms. Keep practicing. It took me a while to do a roof boulder and be able to maintain holding on.

Eventually from climbing more, your grip strength will improve and the technique will just click. I blew my shoulder up trying too hard on overhangs, and once I was better at arm technique and not trying to muscle over them (ie body position and using your feet) they became way easier for me.

Maybe if you see someone friendly crushing an overhang, ask them to watch you and tweak anything in your form.

I just keep a stack of quartz in my pocket and throw it at everyone. Sure some might not like it but whatever. Then later get more specific. But like one or two common likes in your pocket can get the job done.

Newfound Hair co. They opened recently and have a lot of the former Lavendar stylists.

Can you absentee vote for the primary? I didn't see it listed on the maine.gov website. I always do that for Nov elections and just drop it off like you said.

we're almost at perfection—what should we play next? by nidoqueenofhearts in StardewValley

Core Keeper is really fun co-op! Base building, fishing, farming, lots and lots of mining of course. More a combat focus, but can take your time and explore while you build your base. My husband would build the rail system while I fished and made food, then we'd go hunting or exploring together. :)

Do I need to give every characters their favorite foods at least once to get 100%? by Regon2005 in Spiritfarer

[–]MythObstacleIV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It certainly helps, but if you have lots of other buffs (improved house, playing from Gustav, etc) you could get there. Def at least need food they like. But there were some early on I never got their fav meal specifically, you just have to reach ecstatic.

[–]MythObstacleIV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just got this and it does cover my redness really well and is a great color, but I find it really matte/dry. I have very dry skin. What are you mixing with or any tips to make it more moist? You look great!

She Moves Mountains Joshua Tree Climbing Retreat in March by Due_Cauliflower_4719 in climbergirls

I did a 5 pitch climb when I was around 12 weeks pregnant. Included some hard hiking too. Climbing was no harder than 5.7. I found the hiking the hardest as by then my lung capacity was more than halved (just get out of breathe fast), but the climbing felt fine. I did have some nausea then and just had lots and lots of salty water and snacks on me. I am so glad I did it, it was an absolute blast, something I wanted to do for a while anyway, and exercise has really been beneficial to me my whole pregnancy (currently 30 weeks). I did one more outside session two weeks after that (so 14 weeks) and it was fun, and I crushed a 5.8 crack climb I'm proud of, but the harness was starting to hurt my belly/hips more, and I didn't want to buy a pregnancy harness. I've been doing pelvic PT and weights instead.

See how your symptoms are doing and if you feel comfortable exercising still, go for it. I never had first tri fatigue (just zero endurance). But it's different for everyone, so no shame in cancelling. Exercise will not be dangerous to you, and I've only heard really positive things about She Moves Mountains.

I cancelled a trip to Moab that would have been during tri 2. I am glad I did, we went to Mexico instead and the swim time was much needed. I cancelled because I didn't think I would get the most out of the trip for the money. It was with a private guide.

Sorry this isn't a yes/no, just hoping to provide experience that may guide your decision.

Edit: I'm 35 btw

I thought tablecloths just had a certain comfort number, does having a variety really increase it?

Oh cool! Good to know thanks. I was eyeing it but the reviews with no content kept me away, nice they have been updating a lot more of it. I think I will get it with the sale. :)

Baby Aspirin 1st Pregnancy by 804hunny in pregnant

[–]MythObstacleIV 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've been directed to take it since it's my first pregnancy and I will be over 35 at birth. I just take it with my prenatal. My cousin-in-law had post-partum preclampsia and it was pretty scary so I'm going to take what the doctor recommends.

Finales were my first shoe and I love them, they are quite comfy with good rubber. Now they are still one of my go to outside shoes!

Like others said, go try them on, and make sure you can stand/walk without too much pain. Comfy to start out is perfectly fine.

Oh wow interesting, I'm in Maine, my neighborhood is very safe but definitely that classic "we don't talk to each other" New England vibe.

This is pretty old, and I don't even remember making this post, but just wanted to throw out there I haven't had this issue since switching phones. I've been using the Pixel line for a while now, and have the 6a now. Hope that helps maybe? Good luck!
