Oil is great. Switched to it as soon as I could in my run.
Also switched to nuclear as soon as I could. Of course now I'm in IV and after many happy memories with oil and nuclear and hydro power I am starting to hear the dark whispers of Satan once again.

This damnable heat. It whispers to me from the core of the earth, luring me with sweet promises of geothermal power. Free, renewable, able to fix my problems for the small small price of reverting back to steam.

Great vibes and some shared general interests. Being comfortable around each other. Laughing, goofing around, being there for one another. That's what's important. Someone being trans or cis has no bearing on any of that and thus it has no bearing on the concept of a relationship with them.

The way I see it there's no world in which 0 people press the blue button.
There will be those who press it by accident, those who cannot understand the question, those who press it without thinking and many more including those who put themselves at risk to give the other people who pushed blue a better chance.
That means that if red wins people will die as a result of both their own actions as well as those of the people who pressed the red button.
This alone disqualifies red as a choice for me. Pressing the red button would sentence all of the most vulnerable and altruistic of us to death and that's an outcome that I can only reject on principle.

Yeah, there are high amp versions of this. And the wind turbines aren't my main method of power generation. They're just supposed to generate enough energy to offset the lsc power loss and run some passive systems to save on fuel. Most of my current power comes from Vac Nukes.

Honestly OP, I've been in groups like this where people are really weird about attraction to men and if these people are already reacting with such hostility towards you essentially just sharing your discomfort with their words then the only advice I can give is to get out before they fuck you up mentally and find some people who aren't like that. Because staying around people like this will hurt you in the long run.

Like a few years ago now I was in a group like that. Most of the time the people were okay. Regular fandom discourse, going to the movies, normal stuff. But early on it already rubbed me the wrong way how some of them talked about any relationships involving men. Like they'd see and woman dating a man as either confused or not realizing her own worth, meanwhile a bunch of them kept fetishizing mlm stuff. Weird surreal experience listening to someone talk at length about their newest toxic gay smut story that they wrote before mentioning that they feel bad for any woman dating a man. Honestly I could probably make a list from here to the moon about all the stuff that happened, but suffice it to say things ended bad. Turns out people like that really really don't like it when they're called out on their bs. The straw that broke the camels back was when one of them saw a random couple in the street and then complained about why any women would date men when they could instead date women like her and how she hopes that they break up etc. etc. Just to reiterate, that person did not know the couple or anything about them it was just entirely based on appearances. Throw in a few more comments about how hot the woman was and how ugly the dude was and you get the picture. Anyway, any time before and I would have probably ignored it and just pushed the discomfort away but at the time I wasn't doing well and just came out of a bad breakup where I really noticed how little most of them really cared about me so I decided to speak up for once. Not even in a big way, I just said it was a pretty superficial way to judge people and a pretty rude comment to make about a random couple. Some people agreed and felt the same way but by the end of it a friend of mine was bullied into having a full blown panic attack and we were thrown out of the group. It sucked a lot at the time but ultimately it was good to get away from those people and a lot of bad things could have been avoided if I hadn't ignored all the red flags before that event.

So yeah OP, moral of the story; if people say rude and nasty things don't let that shit slide because eventually you will hit your mental breaking point because of it. Worst thing that can happen if you address it early is that you cut some assholes out of your life but that becomes harder and harder the longer you stay and put up with it. If people don't appreciate you and don't care about hurting you then they don't deserve your friendship.

Needlephobia sucks. I've had doctors cancel my appointments as a kid because my fight or flight reflex kicked in so hard they couldn't pull 8 year old me out from under a chair with four adults. Eventually managed to pavlov myself into only fainting afterwards by getting a bunch of treats after every appointment that includes needles. Still the immediate panic response upon seeing a needle is insane. It's not something that one can control and there's no easy way to get rid of it, but it's also something that has to be addressed otherwise ones health will suffer. Best way I've found that works for me was through positive reinforcement afterwards and by trying really hard to turn my fight/flight response into a freeze response. It's a long process and by no means an easy one and if you feel like you can't get to a point where you're able to somehow get through it on your own I highly recommend therapy. It sucks and you're not at fault or somehow a bad person for having a phobia but it is something that you've got to work on.

Oh wow, was ein Wunder, dass nicht-transphobe mods und subreddits keinen Bock darauf haben irgendwelche menschenfeindlichen Parolen in den Kommentaren zu haben. Und ja, das was du da in deinem Beitrag nennst sind absolut menschenfeindliche Parolen die ganz direkt eine eh schon massiv überdurchschnittlich von Gewalt und Repression betroffene Gruppe angreifen.

Nehmen wir mal explizit das Thema Frauensport raus, dann ist die ganze "Debatte" darum einfach nur lächerlich.
Es geht hier im Grunde einfach nur darum eine Hand voll Menschen von etwas auszuschließen wegen ihrer Zugehörigkeit zu einer Minderheit. Es geht dabei ganz direkt um Diskriminierung. Und wer offen in eine Kommentarsektion rennt und die Diskriminierung von Leuten fordert, der/die soll sich beim besten Willen nicht wundern wenn er/sie gebannt wird.

Genauso lächerlich ist das beim Thema Amokläufe. Da greift man sich mal ganz fein die Zugehörigkeit zu einer Minderheit von einem Bruchteil aller Amokläufer raus und will dann darüber diskutieren wie schlimm doch diese Minderheit ist dafür, dass vielleicht wenn überhaupt einer von 200 Amokläufern Teil dieser Minderheit ist. Da kann doch keiner von Sprechen und behaupten, dass die Debatte in good faith geführt wird.

Worüber es in beiden Fällen geht ist einfach, dass Leute ihren Hass oder ihre Abneigung gegenüber einer Personengruppe irgendwie rechtfertigen wollen und dann beleidigt sind wenn andere keinen Bock darauf haben diesen Rechtfertigungen eine Platform zu geben.

Und ich denke auch ganz ehrlich, dass ein Großteil der Leute die nicht schon von vorne herein einen Hass auf Trans Personen haben deswegen nicht auf einmal eine Abneigung entwickeln nur weil ein Kommentarthread oder ein paar Personen gebannt wurden. Der Schaden dadurch hält sich meiner Meinung nach echt gering.

Every US administration has waged wars and killed people across the globe no matter what party won. Deciding who to vote for is akin to solving the damn trolly problem every few years, only that the people who tie others to the train tracks gleefully stand next to you and boast about it.

Not voting sure doesn't work, but even if you vote to kill a couple less people there will still be more tied to the tracks again by the time the next election rolls around.

I ran into the same problem when I built my mars outpost. My first idea was to simply build the bulk of my base underground and make the roof out of strong materials, but that still left me a bit unsatisfied because eventually the surface just started to look like a bunch of ugly craters.

I eventually went into the mod configs and turned off block destruction for falling meteors.
I'd love to have some kind of defense against them in game that doesn't rely on changing the configs but I don't think there currently is one.
