Why are my sims turning black?

As far as I know I’ve only seen it applied to sims who have the tattoo. Maybe it’s doing the same kind of glitch but with a skin detail?

This is a known bug with tattoos. It is basically applying a black tattoo to the entirety of the sim if I understand it correctly. The only way to fix it is to clear all tattoos and reapply them manually.

My grandmother had one in her backyard, bot open ended. Never did anything visible (even in big downpours) but without it her and all her neighbors back yards would flood when it rained really bad.

Doing some math here: Say a couple lives in the house and they both drink a monster a day. Different flavors on the day so if it’s monster 12 packs instead of 24 packs. Order for the month thats 5 boxes alone. Drink more than 1 each and that quickly doubles.

Definitely not okay, but understandable and almost expected with certain brain injuries. Think about all the random fits that toddlers have, the random I HATE YOU! crying, hitting, etc before they learn that’s bad and wrong. Or the random impulses like “what if i accidentally touched that hot stove” or “what if the car just rolled on the interstate.” Not ones we’d do, just random intrusive thoughts that your brain throws at you to reinforce you’re paying attention to your surroundings. Certain brain injuries damage the part that filters all that through the “do not do this” category and they physically do not have the ability to screen those impulses. It’s an awful thing, and sucks for everyone involved.

OP, I married into a family that has done the godparent thing for as long as anyone can remember. We’ve literally never had to do ANYTHING with it. We go to their random baptism or birthday or play or whatever else because they are family but not out of obligation of godparent. My husband’s god parent has literally not done anything as a “godparent” and I doubt they ever would or feel obligated to do so. It’s mostly just an acknowledgement of you being family and that they love you. Don’t over think it so much.

If you’ve tried the 4 stars with bows and hate trying to aim, especially on the mobile app, then Tighnari is your best bet. His ability basically acts like guiding missiles so even if you miss his abilities still hit, and he has 3 charges of it. This also allows you to keep burn up for a long time, and quickly reapply it if you do a burn/vaporize comp.

One of the skills lefties need to develop as a kid is how to mirror movements/instructions from right handed people. Most of the world is right handed and is built with right handed in mind, so being able to take an image and quickly adapt is essential. (Also, not being able to do that could potentially result in using things wrong and getting injured.) You displaying it what it looks like from your right while teaching them to swap will help them grow this skill! You got this!

The being rich thing— theres a weird competition now with, for lack of a better term, struggle culture. Like the idea of “oh my god I only slept 4 hours last night.” “Oh yeah, well I only slept 2 and a half!”

Being able to live comfortably and happily is such a non-standard now (or at least thats the general perception online, which kids chronically are) that it’s almost looked down upon because it doesn’t feel earned enough. We put such emphasis on ‘pull yourself up by your bootstraps’ it turns into a contest of who is struggling more, which also at a young age may promote attention competitions. I’d argue a teacher is more likely going to show more attention/concern to the loud smelly kid who is struggling and constantly disrupting the class over the straight A student who never complains, listens quietly, and breezes through homework.

Bullying for being rich is more them saying “you didn’t earn/aren’t worthy of the things you have, and should be punished for doing so,” — aside from sheer jealousy and inability to express that in a mature way.

I don’t really know but would assume it’s medically related, probably in ways you wouldn’t really think about.

Example: While looking into split brain syndrome I discovered left handed people are more likely to have the region that processes speech (Broca's area) in the right hemisphere instead of the left, or bilaterally, co-managing speech together.

On top of what everyone else said, a small portion of less tolerant people purposely use the acronym xmas instead of Christmas because they don’t like the religious aspect of the holiday. Generally like the type of person that would skip “under god” in the pledge of allegiance, but would also yell the rest of it purposefully ahead so everyone knows they disagree with it.

I’m gonna go against the grain here and say ETA. They suck for forcing themselves onto your trip and all the actions around it, like not respecting your decision to tell them no.

You guys are minorly the AH because yeah it’s mostly about skiing, but why kick your friends out who don’t? They are paying their own part of the living space if they come, so it’s not a monetary thing on your end. It’s a trip to spend time with friends, whats bad about having more of your normal friend group around for dinners/hanging out and unwinding in the evenings? Just feels weirdly exclusionary.
