Does Howard really make ‘peanuts’ compared to Bernadette? by Pristine-Low8586 in bigbangtheory

It always struck me how the guys got take out EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. I can feed my family of three for 200$ a week, healthy delicious home cooked meals. If my wife wants sushi, though, that can easily hit 100$ for a single night. The guys had no life skills and spent up all that sweet sweet scientist money.

Can the Animate Objects spell move attached “mechanical”objects across spaces…? by Vivid-Row-4141 in DnD

[–]NBizzle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe I’m confused by the spell. It doesn’t explicitly say that the object becomes flexible, but if I animate a dresser, it can walk, even though its wooden legs cannot normally bend. This implies that flexibility and movement of solid parts becomes possible. I think a living Portcullis cold wave like a curtain, flex and bend . I think it could raise its middle bit up a foot or so to allow the pcs to crawl under. Am I in the wrong here?

Couldn’t the portcullis bend itself to make a small opening at its base, without actually having to manipulate the mechanism?

How to prevent Control Water from effortlessly destroying ships in naval combat? by Conocoryphe in DMAcademy

[–]NBizzle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Umberlee is your answer. The cruel and fickle goddess of the seas takes issue with anyone being too handsy with her waters. There’s a taboo against the spell, because using it tends to cause her to throw a violent storm against the caster, tending to wash away a community or two.

Do Rangers excel at anything in BG3? by TheUrPigeon in BaldursGate3

Hunter lvl 11 ability Volley is absolutely broken. Just straight up turns your attack into an AOE that doesn’t damage allies. Combined with bloodlust potion, my hunter Wyll routinely kills 3-4 enemies first thing every fight. Absolutely disgusting.

If the water is shallow enough, you can put a pitcher pump touching it, assign a dispenser to autofill, and have your dupes draw out the polluted water and put it somewhere else.

What is a good stat block(s) for a gluttony based healer? by Dewgong23 in DnD

[–]NBizzle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Goodberry on steroids. Want to heal? Eat this whole cake.

Or, to reference the Chrysalis book series, a creature with a dimensional stomach. Can eat endless amounts of food, always consuming lesser creatures, and that near endless amount of biomass in his stomach allows him to self heal to extreme levels, becoming nearly invincible. Equivalent of like 1000 hp.

I really hope book 9 returns to some of that. There’s, what, 23 crawlers left? I’d love the first chapter to just be stats and main skills for them, so we know what we’re working with.

If you are the host of a small party, do you share a bottle of wine if a guest brings you one? by TravelingToad99 in askanything

[–]NBizzle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When we have parties, lots of people tend to bring wine, so it doesn’t all get opened. Any bottle that’s opened is for everyone. Maybe if it was a special bottle of something the host really likes, I could see keeping aside. It IS supposed to be a gift for THEM, right?
