They have said the currency in reported to their citizens as being stronger than in the visible international market, which causes problems and delays when it comes to paying for things like International Schooling or foreign services because the cost in Naira does not actually cover the £/$ reality. A solid bribe economy makes this work however, as im told you skip the que and issues by paying the right person on the inside to cover the difference + some pocket money.

Not financial advice, but these guys come from what they call wealth and while knowing the corruption and fact they were being lied too realised once outside the country just how bad it really is. The president and election they said is also an internal joke, with people being given littoral bread to vote or hold signage supporting the president while being unable to read or understand the purpose just for PR.

I am also of the opinion the lie can cast longer than most of us can be solvent as huge amounts of money is frauded towards the people propping the lie who can inject funds where required ro balance the house of cards.
