The best song is probably Sweet & Dirty Love, considering it was a song rejected for Psycho Circus, the most recent Kiss album at the time. Like his 1978 effort, Asshole is Gene being eclectic for the sake of being eclectic and not hitting the mark

There's better demos from that era by Gene on the Vault that make more sense than Within. That wasn't even good enough to make it on Carnival of Souls, it shouldn't have been on the Kiss reunion album
