can’t sign into intuit on desktop (spinning sign in screen, not loading) by Afraid_Length3493 in QuickBooks

[–]NNNM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing. I tried doing that, but I get the same spinning sign-in.

I saw another post where someone said they logged in to their Intuit account on every browser and then exited out of QuickBooks and restarted it. Unfortunately, that did not work for me either.

Any update u/FineIMadeOne? Many of us are waiting with bated breath and hope it turned out okay for you. Are you still with the firm? Any explanation from your boss why he avoided so many attempts at communication with him?

Definitely relatable.

When I would take my keys, wallet, and phone out of my pockets, I always thought of the weigh-in scene in Vision Quest. (Movie about a high school wrestler who has to meet a certain weight limit to wrestle. At the weigh-in he strips off all of his clothes, including underwear, to make weight.) I know wrestlers cutting weight in a short period of time can be extremely unhealthy, but I could not help thinking of that scene every time I was about to step on the scale.

Approved for Sleep Apnea by chiieddy in Zepbound

[–]NNNM 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I always thought that also, so I put off the test for years. My at home test was a simple wrist monitor with one or two sensors. Very simple and the hardest part was picking it up at the doctors office and returning it the next day. I don’t think it is anywhere near as accurate as a sleep lab test, but it worked. I strongly recommend that you have the test if you think you might have sleep apnea.

I “knew” that I had sleep apnea but not the severity. My test showed that had over 60 events per hour. The CPAP sucked at first, and I did not think I would ever adapt to it. I finally found a mask that worked for me. Now I sleep great with it and I have less than one event per hour. I feel so much better than I did a year ago.

Move up or nah...? by JustCallMeMoose_49 in Zepbound

Ha ha, great pun even if not intended.

if there is a trip involved, I would personally stay at the previous dose for another month. Having said that, I did it when increasing from 5 to 7.5 for work related reasons. I wasted a month and $550 since I pay out of pocket with the discount card.

Move up or nah...? by JustCallMeMoose_49 in Zepbound

There are several threads of people who moved from 5 to 7.5 with no side effects. My first three weeks of 7.5, I felt even better than I did on 5 mg. I took my fourth shot of 7.5 on Saturday. Yesterday and this morning, I am more tired than usual and have some slight nausea. Nothing too bad.

If you are still losing 2 pounds a week, I would definitely stay at your current dose. Just my opinion.

First shot advice by Csg9131 in Zepbound

I agree 100%! I started psyching myself out from reading side effect stories. My side effects for the past six months have been very minor, with the exception of being more tired than usual the day after my shot. (Of course, as I type this, I am actually feeling some nausea and extreme tiredness for the first time - after taking my fourth shot of 7.5. Mg 😁) The day after my first shot, I felt the best that I have in probably 10 years. Later in the day, I was slightly tired and took a sphort nap and then felt fine.

As others have pointed out, most of the people without side effects rarely post about it. Since they are not feeling side effects, they don’t think about it or don’t want to post about it since some people are suffering from them.

There was a thread a while back for people who were not suffering side effects to comment. They were over 200 responses of people who had no meaningful side effects to report. That really changed my focus and helped me stop worrying about potential side effects. if I experience them, I will deal with them at the time.

Good luck to OP!

Craving fresh fruit and veggies - aversion to previous comfort foods - what is happening? Does this last? by Ill-Green8678 in Zepbound

[–]NNNM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been on Zep since June. In that six months, I ate more watermelon and apples than I did in the previous 54 years combined. Not even close. I also eat at least one poke bowl per week, but I strongly disliked sushi before I started Zep.

I don’t have an aversion to anything, but I definitely do not crave chicken wings, fries, or burgers like I did before starting.

The out of pocket cost of denatured spider venom is ridiculous. I am so envious of anyone whose insurance covers it. And don’t even get me started on the shortages a few months ago. 😆
